Yeah, doesnt he run sample magic? - i always love the sounds those guys get. Easily my favourite Sample Producers - They/He Clearly knows a good sound when he hears it - Pretty Jealous of this guy TBH : )
20:47 "the Prism Morpheus doesn't color the sounds". "Sometimes I sample it back into itself...the preamps give it a really warm effect". You just contradicted yourself.
I have the akai mpc 60 mk2 the timing on that is amazing for midi I still use one to this day really amazing machines made famous for sampling but powerful machines for sequence and timing and other treats !!
Dude he said it by accident, I mean cmon! If you were getting interviewed, and showing off your stuff, I’m sure you’d get a little nervous as well... jeez
Sat thro the whole video and have to say - this is the closest i have seen to my dream studio (he has great taste, obviously subjective but IMO) I have to stop watching these videos they just make me sad : (
Probably not good for your back though the jamming area...needs to be better positioned, probably higher up and layered so your not stooping over all the time...especially at our age 😉
i wonder why mainstream producers- regardless- don't spend a lot of money on studio gear, synths drum machines etc.. apart from outboard eqs comps n preams, while producers who cater to specific fans, like me spends a lot of money getting sounds
+Bone Alias As if his head isnt filled with a bunch of more important things, you attempt to discredit over a memory error? More human than human.............
That's the type of detail a musician doesn't really forget . Not only does he say "analog drum machine" but he goes even further and says it again except he says "real analog drum machine", which means he actually had to think about it. I know i would never confuse any of my gear as far as analog vs digital. Producers are usually pretty specific about those details... Weird.
It's funny how in so many of these studio videos (not just FM's) you see people using every DAW under the sun, except Pro Tools. I'm not knocking Pro Tools, but it seems to be losing ground. I never really warmed to it, so I'm not too surprised, but I often hear how Pro Tools is the industry standard. Obviously this guy could afford a PT HD rig, but he uses Cubase. I see a lot of artists on Logic and Ableton as well. Just an observation. Thanks for the video!
Pretty much every single drum machine: "yeah it doesn't get used much i just sample the sounds and leave it" Like what's the point in keeping them turned on then haha
Instead of buying all of these old drum machines buy sample collections of them plus a good analog Stereo EQ and analog compressor and you get a much better sound for less money.
***** Nope you get a much better sound because the EQ and Compressor will add harmonics to the sound you do not get out of the old boxes. These old toys make only sense if you wanna use them in a live set when you are performing live, because in recordings you will get them in to your computer and then the sound will be the same like on your sample libraries. Don´t forget the libraries were done with sampling and recording of the old boxes.
FrancisJoa they are not toys. they sophisticated electronic professional music making devices thankyou. As for your second point. These machines can be used however the producer wants. Just because you are wedded to your DAW doesnt mean that others should be
***** If you want to produce a record your whole stuff will end up in your computer. As I said if you use them for live performances then it makes sense, but not in recordings.
It’s amazing how all these loaded musicians find all these expensive machines and synths in junk stores. Just be honest you paid 2 bags for the 909 and 5 bags for the 808, but as long as you got the super drums for a tin of peas and a bag of parsnips you feel better about paying over the odds for Roland
Thank you Sharooz for taking time to actually show the gear!
One of the best studio tours you guys have done. Bravo!
This is one of the best studio tour so far !
That's some studio, he must have a lot of fun in there!
I love how the camera's frame rate is making all the synths' LEDs blink like crazy
Drum machine starts playing "Everything Counts" at around 1:15
Great clip! Sweet setup in this studio for sure. Massive envy.
Very Nice Studio Sharooz! You can tell that he's just as much a Sound Designer as he is a Producer.
Yeah, doesnt he run sample magic? - i always love the sounds those guys get. Easily my favourite Sample Producers - They/He Clearly knows a good sound when he hears it - Pretty Jealous of this guy TBH : )
The Festa Yeap that's the same Sharooz from Sample Magic. I would expect him to have a nice collection of synths and drum machines.
This kind of access is so great. Thanks Sharooz and Future Music.
Acid music is the air, water and blood I need for my body! Great jam!
Great stuff, totally passionate about sound, gear and creating sounds top man
Juno under rated?
Jean Ralphio's studio is really cool
Great tour
Awesome producer and sound designer!
Seems like a very humble and modest chap. Considering how much amazing inspiring quality sounds have come form Sample Magic.
beautiful studio
Dang! That is a sick setup! And he's got it all wired in to play at once
Woaah that 808 looks in mint condition!
Cool tour. How it the Juno 106 an underrated synth? I have never heard a bad word about it.
+Huib de Jong
Agree
most people seem to want the juno-60
Sweet setup, pretty jealous..
synth paradise

Awesome jam session!!!
1:15 Awesome, thought I recognized that sequence and those drum hits.
where you connected the audio outputs?
As synchronized with the daw?
great!!!
rm and fm very recognasible in those analog synths ...,,
I have the akai mpc 60 mk2 the timing on that is amazing for midi I still use one to this day really amazing machines made famous for sampling but powerful machines for sequence and timing and other treats !!
So what does he use for bass?
i saw russian poster at 32:03 :D
Living the dream
Roland's best customer haha... I'm jealous. Some real classics, and everything looks mint condition... drooool...
soo much money
Underground Aesthetic get a job.
I wonder if he likes Roland
Samples of these machines will not yield the same results as using the internal sequencers.
That is what i am trying to figure out
More FX Pedals ...Analog mixer , and some good in the Box stuff ( plug ins ect.)
and he's golden
سلام آقای شهروز.حالتون خوبه؟ میتونید به من برای یک پک سمپل برای برنامه ریپر کمکی بکنید؟ من محدودیت زیادی برای دسترسی دارم لطفا کمکم کنید
dude, nord drum is DIGITAL. Very, digital.
:#
it even says VIRTUAL ANALOG on the front!
Dude he said it by accident, I mean cmon! If you were getting interviewed, and showing off your stuff, I’m sure you’d get a little nervous as well... jeez
i need to know what chair that is.
+CrispyLightVybez A Herman Miller chair

Persian dude with a britz accent showing up some 'COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL' machines that everyone knows :)
+Lucas Luraka
Anyone knows how many times he says 'COOL' ?
Por Dios!!!! That Teenage Engineering OP-1 Its so fricking expensive!!
+David Rios .... the OP-1 is expensive??? :D
That first patch on the jupiter 6 sounds like curt cobain lol
Nord Drum isn't analog...
+Bone Alias As if his head isnt filled with a bunch of more important things, you attempt to discredit over a memory error? More human than human.............
Lee Duhon
Just a factual correction. Don't give a rat's ass if it's analog or not as long as it sounds good.
+Bone Alias I agree.

His music sounds like plug-ins being the funny thing haha…

it is a standard in the industry meaning sound engineers not producers
yeah pro tools is mostly a mixing thing, if you watch any video with a mix engineer chances are you will see pro tools
I always laugh when I see the size of the knobs on the 808 - why would anyone put such small knobs on such a big machine?
nord drum is digital...
Audeze LCD2s FTW

Instead of buying all of these old drum machines buy sample collections of them plus a good analog Stereo EQ and analog compressor and you get a much better sound for less money.
and you get a non distinct grey slab of sound just like everyone else
That kind of common sense and logic is not welcome here.

first?
Are we sure this guy knows what the hell he's talking about? He said his Digital Nord drum was a "Real Analog Drum Machine".
I'm sure I saw another vid of him calling the 101 a '3 oscillator synth'. I hate the be the 'um akchually' guy but...come the fuck on.
@@atarirob 😂yeah I don't mind being the "um actually" guy if the person in the video is overtly ignorant of the subject matter.
Awful video quality.
..ennesimo studio con tr 909...juno 106...uff, che palle, che noia ..mai un alesis Andromeda? o un Waldorf q?
