Enjoying the play through so far. Not sure if you know this, but you can hit the R key to take all from containers rather than clicking the button. Not everyone is into hot keys though.

Wow, the time just flew by, so I have this rating system I use when following gamers. Silly stuff, like I hate it when someone has never watched a game and goes in blindly and totally screws up in 3 minutes. I have to say, you get the lead on this game with Kage8484 right behind you.
Kage constantly messes up in every game it drives me nuts. The best at this game is hands down Glock9, Capp00, Guns nerds and steel, and Genosis. They're all extremely knowledgeable and fun. Also Itzprebuilt but he hates 7 days with a passion at this point even though he knows literally everything about the game.
@@Saulbreadman id argue that JaWoodle is one of the best 7 days content creators right up there with Glock i might be biased cause hes aussie like me but he knows everything there is to know about the game lol hes currently doing an A21 immersion playthrough with hud, toolbar and crosshair deactivated
@@Saulbreadman hahaha no doubt... of all the creators he finds a way to unanimously cheese the game in fun and creative ways makes the absolute best horde bases from basic to omg the game is trivial lol
I have never found that to be a good move, points are so important early game and eventually pack mule becomes irrelevant once you have pocket mods and armour mods. A drop chest or two at the Trader and a couple of others strategically placed around your local town and you should never find yourself too encumbered. Each player finds their own groove though so if you find that helps you then go with it, I am just sharing my experience with you.
Congratulations on getting one of the most important magazines on day one (the Needle and Thread Vol.7). Those double pocket mods can really help out early game. Be careful when you head up that ladder in your new home ;-) Thanks for the video x
Another easy thing to do during the starter quests is if you have some cotton around you grab it. Craft into cloth fragments and then into some early bandages. That is usually my strategy is get to where the trader is, and find a small house nearby to go ahead and loot before night falls, then you can spend the night going over what you have, spend points, make storage and hit the trader up first thing in the morning to start questing. You found the double pockets book day one, holy moly that is great!! The spear has about double the reach of how close you are getting to the zombies, try hitting from further away, it really is good. Pretty good starter base, maybe go up to the second floor to stay the night. Love this, thanks for sharing the fun!

Less than a 1 Km is a good start it seems. 2-3.5 Km is what I've been seeing. I had one start with around 3 km by the time I got to trader it was closing. I tried to get the quest quickly but was kicked out. Instead of just placing me outside, it ported me across the map 2.5 Km away. (I just restarted new game) I like using the trader's quest for first nights base. You have to clear a spot might as well get credit for it. Shift-Click moves stacks from one place to other.

use all the lead to craft robotic ammo and then sale it to the trader early game cash.
How do you play singleplayer? They removed it and they really pissed off like 50% of all players. How did you manage to play solo?
It should be in the options when you create a new world now, at least it was when I created one lately
Actually, nevermind, I’m dumb, you have to make it so your world fits a max 1 player and your server isn’t listed

oh and don't try and destroy the cop cars because they will give you a mini hoard night and they tempt you because the cop cars only have 500 hp
