A risky tip, if your inventory is full but you really want to grab those last couple items before heading home, make sure your inventory is completely full, scrap a few items that take awhile (and you don’t have space for what it scraps into!!) and quickly fill those slots up. It won’t be able to finish scrapping due to no space. Then when you get to your base open your inventory and cancel the scrapping, which will cause the item to drop on the floor. Then just clear space and pick them up! Adds up to 4 inventory slots and can be really handy.
That it is risky but also a great tip thanks survivor! If you items that scrap down into brass i would recommend doing it with that since they have the longest scrap timer 👍
Be sure when you pick up new loot while doing this, if you decide to swap out something in the loot box, click on the loot first, then replace it with the item you want to switch. Otherwise the scrapping items may fill up your inventory in place of the item you wanted to pick up.
@@horcruxsoul2813 well yeah I said to fill your inventory so you don’t have space for it to scrap. That’s the entire trick. The risky bit is more when you get home and go to unload, sometimes I’ll forget to cancel it first, and instead I’ll start dumping my inventory out. And then it gives me space for the item to finish. And since it’s at 0 seconds left there’s no chance to fix the error before it scraps.
A lot of these tips are unfortunately destructive to long term gameplay because eggs and meat, making really good food stores and are both replenish for so long as you leave the nests where they are. Plus, instead of breaking down desks and things that you can lose you could break down lamps, Street lights, and things to get the spare parts and electrical stuff.
Finally a good guide for 7 days to day ON CONSOLE and not pc. Also thanks so much for teaching how to change gamma I was looking in the game settings and not menu settings👍
No worries man im glad the video was helpful! When i first played this game i ended up putting it back down for a couple months untill i figured out the gamma setting was at the main menu its definitely a game changer!
I literally had to stop the video the moment you said that to go into my game menus settings, my first horde night even with night vision goggles I was blind and so mad they didn't have a slider lol thank you!!
@@Berry60_ 😁 I died a lot when I first started playing, sometimes by my own stupidity (Hey, I can "use" broken glass??😱) A spiked club works wonders on dem damn dogs.... (But be sure to have bandages on you or a medkit)
My entire playthrough of 7 days has been on console since im broke af its been a struggle to find anything like tips for the console version i learned everything the hard way so i thank you so much so that i actually know something rather than having to test everything the hard way
Another tip newer players may not know when scrapping iron ore you only get 3 scrap iron per ore but if you smelt it you get 5. Same as brass knobs, faucets, trophies and lead trophies, fishing lures.
yeah I know this already, but like..im a fuckin pack rat, I take just about everything so I dont have the room for 6 different items made out of lead lmao
@@WeAre1Legion I'm a loot wh0re myself so I know your pain. I was talking about iron ore specifically. I've met so many players that weren't aware of the loss you take scrapping vs smelting. The only thing I don't scrap is iron ore except early game so I can make an iron club. Lead n brass I usually scrap to make room if I need it.
@@joshuaflores6511 lol yeah true, but with how useful iron is I never scrap the ore, ill just hoard every piece I get, ill just smash some things to get the 100 iron needed, usually a sign outside the store or everything I see if I have the major unfortune of spawning in a wasteland . I will admit the only time I will "scrap" iron is ill take like 10k out of a forge and use it to make iron log spikes and set another stack to smelt. that way I dont lose iron I just need to wait for it to smelt
Quick tip on treasure hunting. When you get close to treasure zoom in on map and try to put your player icon directly over treasure chest icon.Make sure to put both icons in middle of one another dig down 2 blocks and dig one block around you.The chest is always buried on 3rd block and it's half a block so you'll see space or gap.Good luck
The first time I went after buried treasure, I went like 8 blocks deep, made a huge strip mine pit... It started collapsing and I got to watch my treasure, which was about 4 block above me, crumble into nothing. I believe treasure chests dont drop loot if they get destroyed by the environment collapsing..
@@EustaBAracer true everything is lost at that point.Treasure is buried on the third block and is half a block so when digging down two layers it exposes the gap/space
great info! nice no-nonsense video too. 77 tips packed into 30 minutes?! thanks! The gamma level, wrenching shopping baskets, and chopping tires ideas were something I felt dumb not to figure out on my own.
Played this game years ago when it came out on console and off and on over the years and I’m just now getting back into it. Super impressed to see people playing this and making vids in 2022. Great video man love to see more.
Thanks man! Ive been playing off and on for the past couple years and decided to post some videos on it because its so hard to find any information regarding console and the communitys still growing! Next video should be out in a few days so make sure to stay tuned for that!
Wow this video is absolutely amazing, I’ve been playing the game now for 2 years on and off and it’s insane the amount of stuff you don’t pick up on like wrenching certain things to obtain them. This video has helped out a lot and so has the comments. I’m really looking forward to what the future holds for this channel 👍
Thank you i appreciate it! Ive got atleast 400 hours in this game and im still learning things about it, its one of the things i enjoy the most about the game, Im glad the video was helpful and there will be a lot more console content to come in the future so make sure to stay tuned for that! 👍
Hey NB! Somehow your video popped up on my feed for the past two or three days. I kept ignoring it as I am a PC only player of 7DtD. After it popping up again, I thought I would just humour it and click on it. Damn, I first though I was listening to Farket (a big YT channel a stones throw away from you). Great voice dude! Clear and easy to listen to. You definitely should continue and keep plugging away on the consoles. Follow up with news (I know there is little of it), but keep doing anything about the console version, etc., as if you are doing something that no one else is doing, it means YT will be offering up your content. So keep up the good work, your channel is looking good. Great video, and as much as I don't use your content, it is presented well. Good luck :)
Hey thank you SnowBee i really appreciate it! Ive actually watched alot of Farket myself hes the one who got me into The Forest the guys a legend! Im glad you enjoyed the content even though you are a PC player thats awesome, If this channel continues to grow in the right direction then i will invest in a gaming pc and branch into more survival games and 7DTD alpha 22 it looks amazing!
I have a decent one. A good way to hit and not get hit with melee weapons is to line up the zombie to be coming at you from directly in front and then just sprint forward, hit and sprint backwards. It's just fast enough to get you out of attack range for most basic zombies. It's obviously tough on your stamina but really helpful early game when you need to be more wary of how many hits you take and because it's in a straight line, you can basically adjust the aim to always hit the head without having to touch the right analog again. It's not game changing but can definitely come in handy if you're low on hit points
Hey man, I used to LOVE this game. I haven’t properly played it in 2 years, and this guide has helped me a lot to re understand and reinstate my love for this game. This is such a great video for beginners and intermediates alike, and I hope that it reaches more and more people. Thanks for not only showing me the game and it’s tips and tricks, but also helping reinstate my love for this game ❤
Thanks man i appreciate it and im glad you enjoyed the video! One of my big goals was to bring more people to the console version or bring back some veterans so thats awesome! I uploaded 50 More Tips and Tricks today so make sure to check that out!
Hey man! Popped up on my recommended, got to say i really rate the tips you've given! I read you were working on another tips video, and if you've not included them yet - I have a few! When starting a fresh save file, look for paths on the map that aren't asphalt, and use a shovel - the amount of stone you can build up early game is suuuuper helpful and much quicker than plopping away at rocks. Second (and I learned this one the hard way), when you die on a hill, your bag might roll - the marker is not fixed to your bag, only to the spot where you died. If your bag isn't where the icon suggests, look around for it. Thirdly, in the early game when you're crafting scrap iron clubs, bows, and arrows, always craft arrows first so that subsequent weapons reap the benefit of your increased crafting level. And finally, If travelling on foot, take a few coffees with you so that your endurance doesn't run out and you get caught with your pants down! Cheers again mate, earned a sub 👍
Thanks man im glad you enjoyed the video! And they are some really good tips thanks for adding them in! I actually do have the arrows before weapons early game and coffee for quick stamina boost on the list lol i personally like chipping away at the rocks to get some iron aswell but definitely some good tips!
@@NaturalBornNZ ahh okie dokie! A lot of my suggestions are often tailored to newcomers and new games because I think I've restarted about 6 billion times - I love the beginning stage and planning extravagant builds that unfortunately never get completed lol. I agree that the iron is good from the stone blocks but personally I like to wait until I've got a forge so I can make a pickaxe to mine quicker, and fortunately bellows can now be crafted with regular leather (I think when I started playing it was only animal hide so it was a bit more of a grind!). Looking forward to your next tips 😊
With the console “update” coming soon, you should do a tips video leading up to it discussing things people will need to know before hand. Changes that people may not think about. Such as not being able to get bones from zombie corpses, different food items we will have to utilize instead of meat stew (I think that’s gone anyway?) changes to farming, etc. stuff that people are so used to being a certain way that aren’t possible in the PC version. So people have a heads up what to expect. Not being able to get minibike wheels by hitting tires. So people don’t waste their time doing what they’ve always done expecting the same results.
1st ima say thank you so much, me and my friends started playing on ps4/ps5 a few weeks ago and we love the game. 2nd this video is extremely helpful and we're sharing this vid and telling p to subscribe to you. Last please please please make more help videos for consoles. It don't matter how long the video, the info you give is more important then the length of the videos
Hey thanks for the comment i really appreciate it, its good to see alot more people are playing this game and that the community is still growing! and thank you for subscribing and sharing the video it really helps the channel out and theres alot more content coming for 7 days to die console version so make sure to stay tuned for that! 🙂
Killed it man. Console mvp right here. Seriously. Can't thank you enough for these tips. I've been playing maybe a week now, maybe 50 hours in game, and a handful of these id figured out but the vast majority I had absolutely no clue about. After watching the full video I got so pumped I decided to just ditch my current game and play a new one with this new info in mind. So far, it's going really well. 1 day in but already way ahead of where I got previously. Iron pickaxe and built a forge already for once. Anyway thanks again. Keep up the great work. ;)
Thanks i appreciate it and im glad you enjoyed the video! Im working on another Tips and Tricks video atm and a bunch of other console content so make sure to stay tuned for that!
I haven't seen anyone mention wood farm fences. Early game or late game works really well. If you find yourself running out of time. Just craft enough to box yourself in. Zombies can't get over it. It's great for melee.
Thats quite funny you mentioned the farm fences, I have mentioned them in other videos and have used them in my lets play lol But have never heard anybody else talk about them so thank you adding that tip in 👍
Yeah I just watched one of your other videos. That's the first time I have heard anybody mention those fences. My wife and I play on the weekends when we have some free time. I found out about them a couple of years ago.
OMG DUDE THANK YOU i just installed the game last night on xbox and started the campaign and by god i was looking up things left and right and having such a hard time but this has helped me so much
No worries man im glad you found the video helpful! Im working on another tips and tricks video and some mining guides so make sure to stay tuned for those 👍
Great list. I did learn something new. Several actually. I never guessed you would wrench a plastic shopping basket! You have a new subscriber. Gamers on console are hard to find. Thanks.
Thats good im glad the video was helpful! Ive got alot more 7DTD Console content on the way so make sure to stay tuned for that! Also thanks for subscribing 🙂
Me and my cousin recently put 25 hours into a world and your tips were extremely helpful, i very much appreciate you and hope everything is going well for you.
This is super helpful. Especially considering this game just went on sale in tye PSN store for like 7.00. Twice this year its been on sale so a few new players out there. Including myself and this video helped me so much.
Thanks man im glad you found the video helpful! Yea i picked the game up a few years ago for $14 and that was a score, Ive definitely got my moneys worth out of it!
@@NaturalBornNZ ive been addicted to Destiny since it launched in 2014. Nicw to play something different for a little while. Keep up the great work and ill keep watching. Have a great day.

thanks much mate! just got into the console version a few weeks ago, and 75% of what you revealed in trhis vid was new to me. im amazed ppl are still playing this game, and now i can see why. keep it up! 👍
Dude... Solid tips. I wish I'd seen this earlier in my time surviving. I had that crash bug happen to me once and the POI I was holed up in got reset.. lost my forge, my main storage box and everything in both.
A Tip For Long Term Worlds When you start Getting into The Late Game and Hoarding More and More Items I Would recommend to start Splitting resources Between Bases so MD5 Glitches (Resetting Chunks to Day 1 Phase essentially Obliterating your bases) Won't Be As Damaging to you.
One thing I always do, is when melee attacking crawlers I always duck so I'm on their level, it helps to stop them breaking/spraining your legs, which they have a good chance of doing if the stand to attack them. Some good tips in this vid that I didn't know of. Nice one fella.
I've been playing 7dtd for abt 2 years now? around that range or even before 2020 but still, but I has no idea you could pick work benches with the wrench I always thought once you placed them it's a one and done. thank you so much for making this, this will be so helpful when I start a new playthrough
Thats awesome im glad the video was able to help out! Yes its a game changer being able to move workbenches especially when you find them in the world 👍
Thanks im glad you enjoyed the video! Im working on 50 more tips and tricks at the moment but its taking a while to record, make sure to stay tuned for that!
Even as a veteran, put a few thousand hours over the years on ps4, i never thought to repair the clothes to help increase tailoring quicker, always scrapped or combined them in a work bench 😅
Haha well im glad there was something on this list for you! I think turning cotton into cloth is the fastest way to level tailoring skill, that one is on my next tips and tricks video make sure to keep an eye out for that and thanks for watching!
Thanks buddy i am about 1 week into playing the game and i just learned a bunch from this video . Hard to find tips for the console version . All the videos seem to be PC ... much appreciated , keep up the great work
One other thing i just thought of, early game i find it better to use the stone axe to chop trees as it boosts your construction perk, rather than an iron axe as that boosts your mining perk. And getting a higher level in construction over mining is better for the 1st week or so, as you need more points in construction for good stuff early game.
Thats a really good tip! You can also use your hatchet to collect plant fiber and that helps level construction too! I usually build a base pretty quick so all the upgrading helps, But if your in a POI you can upgrade wood blocks to help aswell 👍
Just got this game on PS5 and was really struggling. I knew nothing about it going in. Your channel has been amazing on prepping. I'm also really enjoying your Let's Play and I hope you'll keep it up. (Understandable if not. Much love either way!)
Nice videos helped me a lot. I am new to the game so trying to pick things up. I’m interested in seeing some of your base builds if you could do a tutorial at some point would be great.
Thank you im glad the video was helpful and i will be doing a base tour soon just trying to finish up a few things in my world first, i have a few other 7 days to die console videos im working on too so make sure to stay tuned!
Hey Trap, how 're you getting on now mate, 1 month on from when you commented? I am new to this game also...very very new, like, I STILL jump and run and hide inside the building my bedroom is in whenever I hear a particularly loud zombie that is obviously very close by! I spent an awful lot of time in the first week or so just using creative mode and basically seeing what I could build and learning how to use all the different block's and parts, etc. I think it is needed when the game you are learning is such a huge and complex system. It is like a machine imo, with thousands of combinations of moving parts to be considered. When I watch videos like this I am in awe of the stuff NaturalBornNZ has figured out, not to mention built! So I am I to my third week, since I bought my Xbox one. Never been a gamer before but have discovered at 45, I love gaming. So I am trying to learn this as it is my favourite gamer pass game so far. I have now begun to break away from creative mode and am trying to survive in the proper Survival Mode with Cheats Off. I am so bad at it that I am lucky if I manage to get the basic survival quests completed and successfully go to the Traders and then manage to get to a see building afterwards. Usually, if I do somehow manage to complete all that I get bloody killed by zombies as I am trying to make a random house safe or as I am on my way away from the trader and trying to just find any place to be safe! I just turned around seconds after leaving the Traders and there was a crawler and a walker right at me. I had less than a second to think so I simply struck out with the crappy wooden club I had. The crawler died quickly, thankfully, but the walker, which was more of a runner the, succeeded in repeatedly biting my he'd area and as I as running backwards I become aware of another zombie behind him....And another, and...yep...turned out there was about 6 of them. All chasing me away from the Traders. And I had no base there, no decent weapon. I was suffering some kind of I just or poor health from the long walk to the Traders because I as only walking at a rather slow speed. All in all, I was in a bit of a crap situation. And this is how good I am at 7 Days to Die! Oh yeah, I got eaten by them lol! and would you believe I still had the bedroom I had picked up from my safe house miles away at the South East of the map, still on me, so when I respawned I didn't respawn anywhere near the Traders or my previous safe house but somewhere more to the extreme South West right next to the blood line as I call it. The red area on the extreme left! So that's a description of my most recent failure. I am switching off for today after that, lol. Gonna try a different approach tomorrow. Need a better weapon at the start, or I need to learn better punching tactics! They overpower me so easily!
This is wat i find out in this game. 1. Have enough space above your head if your making a underground base. Minimum 3 blocks. This prevent glitching to the service. Where you get stuck in top blocks like the road. And only a friend can get you out. And the zombie can kill the players. 2. Mines can be invisible a lot of times. Stick to the road. This is by not getting a visual ore been covered by snow. 3. Do not to forget to have fun. When you playing with friends do something funny with them. Even if the game is not decided for it. Like a hide and seek. Ore get the most zombie kils. Ore somthing els. Just have fun.
Smelting sand; I've been playing the console version since 2019 and just discovered this, myself, earlier this year. 😂 Just little things you don't think about, sometimes.
Great tips. More for early game, but if you get attacked by a dog at range, crouch and try shoot it in the head with a bow and it should become stunned in place for about 2 seconds. If you miss and dont have time to shoot again, just switch to a melee and go ham on it's head as soon as its close to you. Also burnt forest biomes do have dogs, but not a high a rate as wasteland. They are quite barren which makes it easy to spot dogs to sneak attack, spot bird nests very easily, great fuel source from trees giving that extra coal and you can find patches of fertilised land from which you can straight up dig for a chance of looting fertiliser. Find a potato seed and corn seed alongside that by the first horde night and you'll have a huge advantage being able to use your meat for meat stews. Also navezgane has set spawns for things like workbenches which can be used on day 1 to combine lots of bows into a level 600 purpey boi, you can craft arrowheads in the forge and arrows on your person, and if you keep the forge open whilst doing so, you'll level your weapon crafting super fast. Great way to get around 200 weapon quality on day 2, if you can find a forge at least. Easy to craft. Which btw, the cabin type houses sometimes have a forge in, also workbenches have a fair chance to spawn in gas stations on random gen Glad to see this version still being played though, it's broken as fuck but it has a charm to it. Oh also on ps4 im sure you could set it so your game auto uploads your data to cloud every time you close the game down, worth a look on that
No idea I could adjust the brightess menu in game didn't have it. Has to be the one before you start or load a game. Was wondering why I couldn't see thanks
Might be abit late to the comments section but if you set the Difficulty to Insane and the Zombies to feral you will actually face random ambushes from running Zombies during the day! Sometimes this can be one on its own or a mini horde. This is especially tricky when you're searching your inventory, looting or chopping down a tree 😂 it's a good idea to carry plenty of spikes on you as this starts happening usually from day 2 onwards. Thank you so much for you're awesome content NaturalbornNZ i have learnt so many awesome tips from you and you are so much fun to watch on your playthroughs.
You deserve the like and comment. So we have been playing xbox one since june and hundreds of hours. 1. frames to level a lot, 2. knife instead of hammer to get better fat, 3 cook fat to tallow for $, 4 console game cannot dig down to bunker, 5 crouch before jumping, 6 seed places. Your very last comment I could not understand. We have bought used xbox ones and returned on warranty constantly. The game cannot!!!!! Cannot handle the memory and crashes hourly and loses things. Sometime the overheating will cause hard drive failure and and significant loss of accomplishments. You may be in the same place and time, but you lost your tools, or half your armor, or something else. We were devastated and gave up because the xboxone could not handle this. Slowly we are starting over playing (yes from the last 4 months) to take baby steps with all we learned. You helped learn more.
Those are some really good tips! Im actually working on another tips and tricks video so be sure to an eye out for that! Yea the md5 error is a real problem with this game it seems to be more common for xbox players! But thanks man im glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Me and my roommate experienced the md5 error last night and half our base went poof in a second including all of our equipment and food, thank you so much for the last tip👍
Back up your save is a great addition me and my buddy had literally half of our base get deleted and lost most of our loot on day 56 horde 3 hours before the horde when we logged in we had to scramble to figure out how to survive so basically roof camped at the dinner made of metal and prayed somehow we survived
Yea that bug is truly unforgiving, i have never experienced it myself and i hope i never do, That sucks it happened to you and your friend but use sound like true survivors, for it to happen hours before horde night and use still managed to fight off the horde of undead! Ive heard that the bug is more common on XBOX, I back my save files up every single time i play which is usually around 1-2 hours of gameplay!
Thank you sooooo much! I actually quit playing the game 3 years ago because I was so frustrated with the zombie AI and the inventory management. I’ve been watching pc players since and finally decided to play again, but was once again getting frustrated. I made a simple hoard base with a hatch in the door way but couldn’t figure out why the zombies get stuck on all of the blocks of the house. I’m going to restart with a better design
Heavy doors like the garage door, vault door, etc. can be easily passed through by double tapping the open button to open and close it immediately. You will phase through it and it’ll also close. It’s great for trader garage doors. Just run straight at it and double tap. You’ll never go through them the same way again!
@@NaturalBornNZ yeah I liked the idea of carrying the workstation around don’t know why I didn’t think of that and horsing snow for water. I am a border as well can’t seem to toss stuff lol. Really can’t wait till this finally gets gold so we can get an update on console.
Haha yes the way of the hoarder is my favourite thats my way! and 7 days to die actually went gold 1-2 months ago, they are working on a console version which will most likely be 7 Days To Die Gold/Platinum Edtion but our current version wont be updated it will be released as a seperate title for next gen consoles id say! but i definitely cant wait for that id love to play alpha 21 it looks amazing!
I've been playing with a friend and before day 7 we were able to get our defenses pretty much set up. Maxed Vault Doors with a small layer of concrete surrounding both doors. To save those precious points, I told him not to bother with the workbench skill, the Chemistry Station skill, and the steel smithing skill just so he has those extra points to use in other things.
For the medicine leveling, you can actually use all consumables about 5 times faster if you put them in your hotbar and mash the consume button, I do this when mass producing and consuming bandages.
Awesome video. I miss playing this. But I'm not picking it back up until they patch that glitch. First time I lost my base. Then I learned to do that clear save game trick. But even that's not bullet proof. My friends character got reset to level 1 twice. Such a fun game. Just needs some attention
Thank you im glad you enjoyed the video, and that sucks man its the only thing that scares me about this game, i upload my saved everytime i play ive had my world crash a few times but i have never experienced the bug myself!

Ohhhhh my freaking gosh dude thank you so much for making this video🤣 I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where clay was nor did I know I could scrap freaking iron ore to make iron🤦🏽♂️ and for some reason I’ve been had iron but never ever did I think of using it to make iron clubs😑 I’m only 3 minutes into the video and I already have it saved and I’m starting my game over smfh the more you know aye? 😅
Be very carefull trying to run down zombies on the mbike, if you hit them straight on there is a chance you will stop dead at them taking instant damage then whatever hits the zombie gets in while you panick trying to slowly back. If one gets behind you you're trouble really starts.
Thanks im glad you enjoyed the video! I have made a building tutorial for a floating base but this involves using plates, I have heard there is a way to do it without plates but i havnt looked into it yet!
6:05 that last building on the right is the building I always make my base in. Break the doors and block them off and then make a ramp with a small jump up to the 2nd floor so zombies can't get it. It's also pretty much right in the middle of the map so it's perfect for always being equal distance from most places.
So the base despawnig thing happened to me on a regular basis but I clear the game cache (online saved data) before I get back in. be careful as there are other options in the menu that will completely delete your save file but what this does essentially is force your game to load the save file before your game crashed that was 99% of the time you won’t loose your base but maybe about 5 min of work.
Good tip for newbies, especially solo players... If you are really having trouble getting started, turn off zombie spawns for the first few days. You can get a feel for the game mechanics, learn where things are, and get a handle on things. If you need, restart and turn the spawns back on from day 1 once you feel confident. There's no shame in that! Okay... Maybe a little shame. ... Maybe more than a little shame... ... I'm sorry I'm the way I am. I'll do better.😥
When I said "if you need" I meant if you wanted to re: Zero (Ha! Geddit?) With zombie spawns. Otherwise, just exit out and turn them back on through the options menu. Sheesh, leaving spawns permanently off would make for a pretty boring game. Unless you REALLY like hunting deer. And chickens.
But be careful when turning zombies back on. I did this once and when i turned it back on all the zombies that would/could have spawned, spawned, all at once. So be ready for a fight if you have an above ground base/home
I had a game going with zombies turned off and it was a lot of fun!! Just a relaxed survival game. Until I had the MD5 crash and 2 weeks worth of work was erased…
I played this on xbox series x and I had a forge, workbench, chemistry set and everything in the police station and was really leveling up and one day my game just froze on me, I turned it off and got back in and the forge, workbench and all was gone, I found a trick now anytime that happens, when you go to reset your game just delete the one where it deletes everywhere I believe but don't delete the cloud so when you go back in you may be a few hours ser back but all your stuff will still be in game, I am glad I learned how to fix that issue.
Thanks im glad you enjoyed the video, Alpha 20 looks amazing i need to invest in a gaming pc for editing and so i can crack into some Alpha 21. Im sure it would make for some funny content Console Pro/PC Noob trys A21 for the first time!
@@NaturalBornNZ Dude, Newegg has been having some great mid level gaming rigs go on sale lately. I just ordered one and can't wait to play with all the content again. It's a shame the console version never got a major update.
Well The Fun Pimps did announce that they started working on the console version but PC is there main concern and console wont be finished untill PC is out of alpha, now they didnt confirm this but i personally dont think console will be updated i believe it will be released as a brand new title, meaning everyone will have to buy it again, But dosnt bother me to much it would be a bit guttered if they updated console and all my saved games got deleted and it would make all my content irrelevant lol
I definitely appreciate learning all this information. Especially the loot spawning trick and learning that Zs can't dig down. I use a Police Station as my main base, and I'd like to be able to loot everything again without having to return for 5 days. Wish i knew how far you have to be from a lootable for it to count towards the timer though
Each "chunk" is like 16x16 or something, so a bigger place might be more chunks but basically if you stay away from the chunks they'll definitely respawn loot. Be brave....go live somewhere else for a while, it's a fun challenge 😉
Awesome vid :D 1) i had 1/2 my base & loot reset/poof to the garage I'd started w/ :( 2) many, many games played.. I found ONE machete at a trait..err..trader :D
That sucks man do you play on xbox by any chance? And yea those traders definitely earn the title of traitors, They out here hustling in the god damn apocalypse! 🤣
Here is one tip that will help in the beginning yucca juice will be your best friend especially if you are not close to a water source yucca can be found in the desert biome along with aloe which is also use to make first aid bandages
Yucca can also be found in what i call the Savanah biome. I honestly don't know what the biome actually is cause it grows cactus but also rains a bunch. But I almost always spawn in it or right next to it.
I did that once with a drop crate and immediately found a bottle cap mine.
Yeah. Not much help when it includes instructions such as "after you craft your gyrocopter..."
"After I craft my gyrowhat?"🤷♂️
I literally had to stop the video the moment you said that to go into my game menus settings, my first horde night even with night vision goggles I was blind and so mad they didn't have a slider lol thank you!!
No problem im glad i could help! I spent my first few months of this game in the darkness before i figured it out lol
Just survived my first 14 days without any deaths. I owe it all to the videos on this channel. Thanks, man, you're a legend!

And has been in the South West corner for as long as I can remember 😆

Just the nailgun you dont need any nails in it to upgrade.
Not to sure i recorded this video on PS4, I play on PS5 now and the game definitely runs a lot smoother 👍
Just wish they’d give console an update ;(

@@NaturalBornNZ Yeah, I am pretty sure you will go far. Just keep it up. You got my sub. :)
Been two years since I last played this game so this video helped me learn so much 🤝
Thank you i appreciate it 🙂 and im glad the video was helpful 👍

@@NaturalBornNZ I’m going to check it out now!
This was so frickin helpful-thank you!
Not an update ive heard its a whole new game coming?

A Tip For Long Term Worlds
When you start Getting into The Late Game and Hoarding More and More Items I Would recommend to start Splitting resources Between Bases so MD5 Glitches (Resetting Chunks to Day 1 Phase essentially Obliterating your bases) Won't Be As Damaging to you.
One thing I always do, is when melee attacking crawlers I always duck so I'm on their level, it helps to stop them breaking/spraining your legs, which they have a good chance of doing if the stand to attack them.
Some good tips in this vid that I didn't know of. Nice one fella.
Yea thats a really good tip! Its something im always forgetting to do 😅 Thanks man im glad the video was helpful!
Yes its a game changer being able to move workbenches especially when you find them in the world 👍
Another tip that is very useful for farming is if you go to a burnt forest the little dark spots has a chance of giving you fertilzer

Smelting sand;
I've been playing the console version since 2019 and just discovered this, myself, earlier this year. 😂
Just little things you don't think about, sometimes.
Which btw, the cabin type houses sometimes have a forge in, also workbenches have a fair chance to spawn in gas stations on random gen
Glad to see this version still being played though, it's broken as fuck but it has a charm to it.
Oh also on ps4 im sure you could set it so your game auto uploads your data to cloud every time you close the game down, worth a look on that
Thanks for the info! I’ve been playing this game since when it was ported to consoles but some things on this list I didn’t even know lol
Glad I could help!
No idea I could adjust the brightess menu in game didn't have it. Has to be the one before you start or load a game. Was wondering why I couldn't see thanks
No worries! Its definitely a game changer when you turn that gamma up 👍
I found a bolt rifle in a tree trunk once.
Looking them helps with upgrading guns and using items to scrap

Hey just finished the video and wanted to say that it was super helpful!!!
Cheers survivor im glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Brilliant video! Thank you for putting the time and effort it making it 👏🤘
Thank you im glad you enjoyed the video 👍 50 More Tips and Tricks was posted today so make sure to check that out!
Thank you so much this was very helpful!
Heavy doors like the garage door, vault door, etc. can be easily passed through by double tapping the open button to open and close it immediately. You will phase through it and it’ll also close. It’s great for trader garage doors. Just run straight at it and double tap. You’ll never go through them the same way again!
That is actually in my next tips and tricks video 😅 i learned that one from playing PC, Another great tip though cheers survivor 👍
Awesome I’ve watched this 6 times already
Thats awesome antman! i hope youve learnt something new from this and thanks for watching!
@@NaturalBornNZ 7 Days to Die has never gone gold.
Literally the most helpful video I've seen.
This is exactly the video I was looking for! You have earned my subscription good sir... thank you 🙏
M8..You're a bloody lifesaver!...literally 😁 appreciate the info, saved me so much time. 👍✌
No worries im glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching 👍
@@NaturalBornNZ no problem, great content. Yea man your lucky. It's literally heartbreaking lol
Xbox no back up for saves. 😭
@@mastermckenney3 during your game play quit the game periodically *Edit* go back to the menu and then press your Xbox button and press start on 7dtd then press quit to save the game at certain check points
-->>if it kicks you off BEFORE you log back into the game follow these instructions. Sorry i should have been more clear on how to save vs how to prevent yourself from losing progress to the bug
press your Xbox button (big glowy x)
Scroll to 7dtd
Press start
Manage game
Clear all saved files
Log back in and continue playing
If you experience the crash your game resets back to the moment you left and followed the instructions so instead of losing 5 hours worth of game play you only lose...the amount of time between exits and restarts I do it about every 30 minutes
If I do or find something important I do it immediately to save whatever I did or found.i.e digging treasure. I reset as soon as I find the map ..as soon as I start the quest and as soon as I find the loot
@@mastermckenney3 on the off chance you still play and you haven't crashed rage smashed your Xbox then kicked your neighbors puppy I hope this helps
P.s I've lost dozens of playing hours to the bug and Ive spent dozens of hours searching for a solution...this is what I found
Ohhhhh my freaking gosh dude thank you so much for making this video🤣 I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where clay was nor did I know I could scrap freaking iron ore to make iron🤦🏽♂️ and for some reason I’ve been had iron but never ever did I think of using it to make iron clubs😑 I’m only 3 minutes into the video and I already have it saved and I’m starting my game over smfh the more you know aye? 😅
Haha no worries survivor im glad the video was helpful! I have a playlist with a few other tips, tricks and guides so be sure to check those out 👍
My wife and I get hit with the reset bug quite a bit. Thank you for the backup idea.
Thanks man this help lot to me man have good day
Great Video! Thank you! Subscribed
Thanks man! There will be another video out in a couple of days!
I love hunting with the mini bike! 😃
Aint nothing wrong with a bit of road kill in the apocalypse!
@@NaturalBornNZ Indeed. I have meat all over the place
I learnt few things I never thought of doing thanks man
Im glad i could help survivor 👍
Be very carefull trying to run down zombies on the mbike, if you hit them straight on there is a chance you will stop dead at them taking instant damage then whatever hits the zombie gets in while you panick trying to slowly back. If one gets behind you you're trouble really starts.
Been playing for a long time, and I learned so much
Thats awesome survivor im glad the video helped out 👍
Thanks so much for this me and my friend have been having a troubled time we only went to 7 days and that's it so you helped alot thank you
Great tip about wrenching the poi lights it never occurred to me to try that!
Not only does cleaning up zombie bodies help performance, it helps level up blade weapons!
Just got your 600th sub. Cheers mate 😁
Haha cheers mate your a legend! 👍
Great video never heard of the bugs, you did miss the floating in air base where zombies cant damage the base
Thanks im glad you enjoyed the video! I have made a building tutorial for a floating base but this involves using plates, I have heard there is a way to do it without plates but i havnt looked into it yet!
This Was Super Useful Bro No Cap❤️
6:05 that last building on the right is the building I always make my base in. Break the doors and block them off and then make a ramp with a small jump up to the 2nd floor so zombies can't get it. It's also pretty much right in the middle of the map so it's perfect for always being equal distance from most places.
I stay at the ranger station very close to that location on navezgen.
Very good video! You gained a subscriber
Welcome to the channel survivor! and thank you im glad you enjoyed the video 👍
This was great! Thanks so much!
No problem thanks for watching 👍
So crazy zombies in this game can't dig down that's good to know
Good tip for newbies, especially solo players...
Bro i was so disappointed when i heard about the hidden treasures in abandoned houses and i started to cry
About to start playing this again on PC, playing it on Playstation 5 for now. Great tips! Some I weren't aware of, etc.
@@NaturalBornNZ yep, xbox. Can't wait for the, eventual, "update" lol
Ah yea its weird everyone i have talked to about that bug is an xbox player im starting to think it may be xbox exclusive 😅
With the trader one at the start I also learnt this the hard way.
at 23:07 you get a max level shotgun from a dead body, was this an actual spawn and if so what settings and perks do you need for that to happen?
Thanks buddy for the advice, ever come to Chicago you got a free tour guide lol
Haha thanks man i appreciate it!
