Is this live yet? Like, can I pay money and play it now? What I've found online says it doesn't go public until the end of July. I'm so excited to play it, though!
I had a lot of trepidations over some of the mechanical updates, but since playing with a full server of friends, the crafting zine changes and water progression changes aren't too bad and a lot of the other changes are actually really good (outfits are awesome). The water progression changes did make us found a cult, though. We found a water purifier helmet mod, put it on a level 6 primitive helmet, and made a shrine for it near our pool of water we made in the desert. Whosoever needeth to slake their thirst now dons the Holy Helm of the Oasis and guzzleth down 500 murky water from the sacred pool.
@@sharpsrain8302 The assassin armor bonus is insane for a stealth build. At full legendary quality, the zombies forget about you the second you break line of sight. AND its a medium armor build with fairly good protection.
Once I got a wrench I started wrenching everything I could. Between mechanical parts, electrical parts, polymer and oil every trip to a trader was giving me a good bit of dukes.
So it looks like you cranked up the experience gain by like 300%, this will ironically make things harder because better stuff is going to come from books and crafting since traders have been nerfed. The higher gamestage might give you some better items but I think getting worse zombies will outpace better loot for a while.
The extra xp would be handy if he spec a lot into be the best of the melee and ranged weapon of his choice, but he spread way too much and that makws him a juicy target Imagine getting perception 7 early on... 35% chance of beheading and iirc 270% damage if you hit on the head with spears, rifles and explosives, that along with spear perk lvl 4 would make the stone spear not extraordinary, but decent and randomly would give him instead headpops and would be """easier"""
Little tip: The amount of zombies that spawn during blood moons is equivalent to your game stage and will increase and stop at your set limit. Anyhow... U made my mc chicken more enjoyable to eat bro thanks for being awesome :)
YES! I was really excited about the update and was wondering last weekend if you would do updated playthrough. I've watched all the previous ones with joy while playing myself.
Hey! Something that I think would make this a lot easier for you across the board: Invest into strength a bit and utilize stone sledgehammers / clubs. The sledgehammers stun and knock down enemies all the time, so they're great for dealing with 1-2 zombies at a time while the club has great swing speed. Strength is king in the solo early game because of the high damage, easy to craft weapons, and bonuses to harvesting. Just some credentials, I have close to 1000 hours in 7 days with about 100 of those hours being in the 1.0 beta.
i disagree would it not be better to use knifes since they stack up bleed plus there really fast andnot only that if you goi in to parkour even just by two level you can jump two blocks and considering that everythin is sprinting it would be hard to hit anything with a sledge or club
@@Birbucifer yea. Early on before 2 points, heavy attacks are the only way to get bleeds. Your #1 mod is a serrated blade mod. Slap that on the knife, get 2 points, then stack bleeds on zombies and kite til they bleed out. It's the giga sweaty strategy. If you are not on insane difficulty, do whatever feels fun
About damn time! But seriously, your videos are straight up spectacular! It's the main source of my intertainment, since i moslty play 7 days to die now, awesome vid bro!
I know that the next episodes are pre recorded. One Insane homie to another, it helps so much to use hatches in doorways to be able to melee zombies. You are doing well for just running and gunning though.
Hey mate here's some late advice: power attacking (right mouse click) applies an extra delay to your stamina regen so if stamina is a major issue just stick to regular attacks. Also try sticking to poking zombies with the knife. They like it XD
So you need to complete 10 quests to get to tier 2, And in my experience the club has been the best way to go because the knock down buys so much time, or the knife for bleeding damage if you can get away. Also I hella recommend using spike traps for missions. Yes, you may not get xp if they die to them, but living > xp. I like pistols a lot! I feel their worth going into but it's hard to deny the machine guns feel better lol. Good luck with this playthrough, it looks brutal on insane lol.
If your a fan of stealth. The assassain armor with knife and bow or crossbow is hella dope. The full set bonus is super nice since it lets zwds reset in like a second or 2 at t6 armor. Even ambjah points can be chill. Just fall back and wait a couple for them to lose you and then bow them down XD
Tier 6 by day 20? You're very ambitious lol I'm at around day 20, and they buffed zombies so much questing is so much harder now. To me, tier 4s are like tier 5s in alpha 21 Edit: I'm a somewhat experienced player, even the veteran players say they made the game harder and worse. P.S: you need 10 quests not 7. The Fun Police made this stupid change
@@isyzenYou need 10 quests for the bicycle btw. Also, try focusing on your skill points. Intellect is probably the best. Stun batons are like cheating, with first aid skill points it has a chance of insta killing. Lockpicking for forge aheads, greese monkey, parkour, if you max out two robots in the endgame with full auto, drum mag, rad remover, AP ammo you're pretty much unkillable. Also, sniper rifles are amazing. One tap headshots.
While it is 10 quests to teir up. Remwmnber that traders share progression now so i think its lower overall as u no longer need to restart at new trader. Can get to t3 at rekt. Move to snow and go from t3 to t6 at jen. Them move to wasteland and cruise at t6 there
To reduce damage by a TON i recommend using raider armour. Lvl 1/2 makes it so you reduce your crit hit chance by a ton, and just in general reduces a bunch of damage
Sorry to bust your bubble but it takes 10 completed jobs to complete a tier now, not 7. And trust me it is going to get a lot harder very soon. In my playthrough, I had ferals and rads on day 7... LOL Keep up the good work!
Maybe use hatches at doors when doing quests slows them down and you can just stab them as much as possible . Good luck with this season. Im not amazing at the game dealing with runners at night is bad enough
i've been struggling a bit with this update, lots of changes, zombies have hp buff, 10 quests per trader now and they all progress at same rate so tier 1 at rekt but you can go do tier 2 at jens, don't forget to check your challenge window to get free XP from completing those. i've just done day 28 so 4th horde night, was probably the easiest one i've done so far, better armor, perks etc, no more weapons in quest rewards greatly reduced cash, fair play on that but they went from making far too much cash to struggling to make enough. and i also think that it's easier to play on a pregen rather than Navesgane, just not enough towns and cities at the start of the game to progress with any speed. "yes i started a vanilla playthrough"
As the game is, money grinding is much more rewarding than trying to quest or clear poi's. In the begining investing in harvesting plants talent thing (I can't remember what's it called) to multiply the number of chrysanthemum and cotton you pick up, on day 5 rekt had a crucible and between cotton, chrysanthemum, and recycling cars, i had enough dukes to buy it
