I went first weekend of March and am looking into going again in May. I can't sotp thinking about that concert. so fucking good. As was the 24k tour. But that smaller venue in vegas is just so perfect

My wife and I just saw them in Vegas and it was such an incredible vibe all night.. Sang and danced all night. As soon as tickets went on sale we booked a flight and had to experience it live. We had a great time

We did the same too! Early birthday present for my wife. It was beautiful as from a crowd perspective, there were young (elementary school even!) and old (retirees), men and women and every demographic group just all there enjoying great music and just all together for 3 hours. It was a brilliant performance.
As soon as I heard the chords in the beginning I called my moms immediately!!!! This song was always so amazing to me!! Great choice on their end!!!

"Love's Train" producers: Bruno Mars and D'Mile
Bruno Mars isn't a fan of cameras in the studio so there isn't anything visual that shows the creative process. It is kind of a contradiction because he records everything audio (even practice/jam sessions from the road). FYI -- Charles Moniz has been Bruno's go-to audio/recording engineer since at least 2014 for both studio and live performances.
Silk Sonic's Las Vegas residency runs thru May 2022. Anderson is then opening for the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Europe for a few shows in late June/early July 2022. Who knows what Silk Sonic's plans are for touring after that.
They have a residency in Vegas through the end of May. I’d advise anyone who likes them to spend the money and go see them. I was fortunate to go for opening night and know someone who’s going back to see them a 2nd time. I would’ve been mad at myself forever had I passed on the opportunity.

Seen them in concert last weekend in Vegas! Bruno, Anderson, and the entire Silk Sonic crew are MASTERS of entertainment! They added their own flair to each song included in the set. So much variety compared to the recorded album BUT so worth going. Pay the money to go see them in Vegas; you WON’T regret it one bit

That break down after Brunos bridge into the "if you are that special lovah!" is probably my favorite part of any song ever. The timing, the vocals, the instruments, it's perfect

I was born to funk lover's in 19877, this song is a staple of my childhood. LOVE what Silk Sonic did reintroducing it to the world.
The original & cover is different but have the same feeling like everyone was singing and playing they instruments felt so very good even brings life into a new world
Con Funk Shun was my dad’s favorite band! I still prefer the original but they did a great job with the song. Love your reactions!

Music Shed, love your vibe and reaction. Per a Las Vas Magazine report, the album was never intended to be a live concert at all. The demand was there and a close source tells me that the Vegas residency may be it for a while.. with no plans on taking it on the road. Ive learned that things are always changing like them adding more shows... but nothing is planned for now. Love your reactions...

Confunkshun had us grooving like this in the 80's, off this song. They still sell out shows now; and can't leave without singing Loves Train". Silk Sonic did not change much from the original.
70's and 80's R&B bands made the best music. If you like this you ought to treat yourself to the original and other songs from the era.
2024 still listening. Hope you got to see them perform, I did in 2022. It was spectacular. Can’t wait for Bruno’s new album, and your reaction to it.

@@MusicShed this version is real instruments so I enjoy the fullness of the sound better but the original is sung by the actual person who was in love with his band mate’s wife, the song is about a love triangle amongst band mates and in the original you can hear his pain in the vocals.

Love Silk Sonic and Bruno Mars. They did a great job on this song. Since you were into rock n roll when the original came out in 1982, you might enjoy going back to the r and b that came out back then. So many great songs.

Bruno's universal charisma on top of his already immense musical talent is what makes whatever he does cool and relevant. You can be talented but if you don't have the appeal people will not flock around you. Anyway physical attractiveness and appeal are completely different things. There are many physically attractive people but they lack the charisma and mass appeal.
When you make money for the industry such as Anderson and Bruno are, the system allows them to make thier own choices in music.

I was never a Bruno Mars fan but I have followed Anderson for years now. (One of the nicest guys you will ever meet). I saw this show in April and I went back to Vegas last weekend to see it again. The show is phenomenal. They are incredible together. Anderson has always been entertaining from the beginning. He knows how to command a stage.
Dance Gavin Dance just put out a new single, Featuring one of the singers from DON BROCO. I had never heard of them until the feature, I've been listening to them more than the single, you should check them out.

Coltrane had Blue Train. 😊 But when you mentioned the train, 1st that came to mind was Johnny Cash, Folsom Prison Blues, & Gladys & the Pips’ Midnight Train to Georgia. Their production sound is crazy, drum mix, vocal balance, the whole 9. That’s part of the upgrade of their cover of this. Can definitely hear the difference listening bro the original. 👍
