Love Silk Sonic. If you like Silk Sonic, then check out their friends Tuxedo. Not as mainstream as Silk, but they started the retro band sound 1st. Their style is more late 70’s-mid 80’s funk R&B. They did a good job on love’s train. I grew up on the original but I enjoy this one too. Silk’s is a little more fast tempo for like a party anthem & Con Funk Shun’s is more slow dancing where Michael Cooper really shows his pain in the song. I can see how Silk Sonic can be referenced as 70’s style Motown but their style is also Philly Soul & Funk.✌️
