I disagree. Agatha having a sad backstory was expected, however that lady was an unapologetic serial killer and it’s apart of the reason Billy did try to banish her. Knowing she could control her powers by cutting of siphoning from Billy means she could’ve stopped for Alice but since she planned to actually kill them all earlier 🫠 She ended still being a villian, she just has a few soft spots but there’s no some kind of hero or even anti hero I’d say. She can be complex and have emotions, this doesn’t mean she’s now redeemed or less of a villian
Agatha isnt misunderstood, you're missing a point there. She's evil, but shes human. Nicholas is only a device to make Agatha NOT a killing machine, rather than an evil old lady who has emotions.
I really liked WandaVision for at least the first few episodes. It was very different and original, and left you guessing what was going on. It did go downhill, and like most superhero stuff nowadays you just lose interest because you've seen it all before. Was a shame. They should have made the whole series like the first part.
I've said it before, and I still won't be the first person to say it when I repeat this later - *Iron Man 2 should have been a Black Widow movie.* Instead of fixating on Tony's drunken toilet dive, you'd have been following Maximov? as she and SHIELD are trying to hold/bring everything together. Don't get me wrong, Iron Man still goes through everything that happens in that movie - but you see it more dispersed and through the eyes of someone who saw Tony A-Okay and all full of himself 1 minute, then you return and he's FACED and literally wrecking house and now you've got her trying to deal with that. Would have been a _way_ better movie - and she deserved it from the start.
The insane number of "women ruined marvel😡" comments in here is staggering. I expected little from Agatha all along and was pleasantly surprised at the pacing and quality of writing, and that sentiment has been echoed by most of the level-headed people I've talked to. It seems like, whether consciously or subconsciously, you went into it wanting to hate it, and if thats the case, thats pretty disappointing because i think that what they gave us, particularly in the final three episodes, are some of the strongest marvel content we've received post-endgame.
As someone who’s spent nearly fifty years watching films and TV shows, I’ve seen stories that range from unforgettable to utterly forgettable. But recently, something feels different-off even-about the direction of modern media. There’s a lack of heart, risk, and moral integrity that once drew audiences in and gave us heroes we could look up to. Today, superheroes aren’t the moral compass they once were; villains are almost always sympathetic, and the line between right and wrong has blurred to a disheartening degree. Take Spider-Man, for example. He was always the “friendly neighborhood Spider-Man,” a figure of resilience and compassion. Yet in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he tries to erase the world’s memory just to get his friends into college. The plot wants us to believe this is a noble act, but it feels more like a profound violation of trust-tampering with the minds of everyone on Earth for personal reasons. It’s disturbing to watch a character who once had a deep moral center make such a reckless, ethically questionable choice, and even more unsettling when he nearly murders the Green Goblin, only to be stopped by an earlier version of Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire’s). In that moment, it’s Tobey’s Spider-Man, the classic hero with integrity, who steps in to remind us of the values that made the character beloved. Or consider Wonder Woman 1984. Wonder Woman, a character who once stood for truth and justice, shockingly violates another person’s autonomy by using his body without his consent. Somehow, we’re supposed to overlook this because she’s the “hero.” The issue isn’t just isolated incidents-it’s the pervasive rewriting of heroism itself. In these modern stories, heroes act in ways that would have been reserved for villains a generation ago, while villains are given complex, almost sympathetic backgrounds that paint them as misunderstood rather than truly malevolent. Morally ambiguous characters have their place, but when every character lives in this gray zone, we lose something vital. Heroes who once inspired us to be better are now often no better than the villains they face. This shift feels like a loss of the aspirational storytelling that once made these characters timeless and provided a moral compass in a chaotic world. But what makes this trend especially frustrating isn’t just the shift in values-it’s the sense that the industry doesn’t seem to care. When fans voice concerns, they’re often met not with understanding, but with backlash from the creators themselves. Criticism isn’t met with a desire to improve, but with defensiveness, sometimes even outright hostility. Fans are called “toxic” for pointing out flaws or asking for a return to what once made these characters iconic. This dismissive attitude speaks volumes; it feels like creators aren’t invested in understanding their audiences or crafting genuinely inspiring narratives. They’d rather deflect blame than engage with what fans want to see. Today, media seems more focused on edginess and controversy than on providing genuinely inspiring stories. In the process, we’ve traded heroes with heart and integrity for characters that often feel unrecognizable. Shows like The Old Man remind me that strong storytelling, rooted in character and ethics, is still possible. But in a landscape dominated by mediocrity, cynicism, and creator defensiveness, those stories are harder to find. I miss the heroes who stood for something and the stories that respected their audiences. And maybe that’s what I-and many other viewers-hope to see again in modern media.

I don’t think it was the best show ever by a long shot but did you seriously just sit there and complain that a 16 year old character mentioned having a boyfriend
Yea i thought the same. Besides, the character is gay in the comics, and they really only bring up the boyfriend to establish that fact. There is no romance scene or anything. The boyfriend is on screen for 5 minutes or something.
He's a bigot and trying to pass it off as "criticism". The fact he can't see why some people would celebrate it being the "gayest" marvel show and not the "straightest" tells you all you need to know about what type of person this is lol 😂
It's his excuse to veil his biases as "criticism". Like he can't seriously believe gay people just wake up on their 18th birthday lmao. He wants to so badly pretend there aren't gay teens too or teens in general in relationships. Also, it's a double standard. He's says "gay or straight" but I guarantee you he wouldn't have even brought up the teen being in a relationship, if it was with a girl.
@ i totally agree. I had watched a couple of his Rings of Power reviews and thought they were alright, but im very disappointed by his biases against anything remotely gay here, or even his mentioning of “grooming.” He is starting to sound like an incel type
That was such a bizarre thing to be mad about, because Peter Parker was dating girls at 15 in Homecoming and no one had a problem with that. It sounds like this guy just has a problem with Billy being gay.
The payoff only matter if people are still watching. And unless I missed something, it sounds like the point of the show was ultimately just to put Billy in play. Okay, so we have Billy and the replacement hawkeye lined up so marvel can make some teen content.
Usually I agree with your videos, but on this one I think you stayed on the hate bandwagon for a bit too long. You missed or misrepresented some plot lines just to make some jokes. -pre-show interviews: got to remember they're still under NDA, while need to talk about the show. Some do it better, some do it worse. They could only mention items that were shown in the trailer, which wasn't much. Most of the practical set was in homes, only few magical places were in the series, most prominent was the witches' road. He mentioned elements from that, which was mostly made out of trees and leaves. Not a very imaginative set, not a very interesting interview, why take time to make fun of it, and not just move on. Feels just very weird. -Plagiarising Sandra Bullock comedies: the show starts with Agatha being under a spell, and she living out fantasies of crime shows she watched. It was deliberately copying existing movies. The plotlines and acting was deliberately bad, because she was playing out something she watched on tv. It was supposed to be bad. -That young girl didn't look "longingly" at Agatha, she just saw something odd going on, in a small town where nothing ever happens. She was staring, to see if something is going to happen. You can clearly see her giggle. Also, the whole scene is like 3 seconds(with the girl), and is not brought up again, odd choice to bring up in a review of the full series. -Coochi-Coochi-Coo: the term is often used when tickling someone. Just before this Agatha was asked if she remembers pain, and that it's kinda a tickling sensation. Don't think the use of it was funny or clever, but it's not like it came out of nowhere. -The "gay" scene: a very odd scene to pick, mate... The whole scene was the phone ringing, he hanging up, and saying: "He worries". That was the whole thing. If you've watched the whole series, surely you've seen them kiss, why not pick that? I know you're talking about the first episode here, but still, why include it here? The whole scene was so brief and innocent, dare I say, this was borderline homophobic thing from you. They don't play around with his sexuality, they weren't even exploring it, they don't even bring it up too often, only in a few scenes. I get that they're putting "too many" gay and queer characters in movies and series these days, but in this case I think they did it well. -Some nonsense throwaway points about some words being used.. -About the trials: not sure what you were expecting or hoping the trials will be, but they explained it in the show why they were the things they were. Might not have been the most clever trial, but in the show it made sense. I'm not a big fan of the song, but again, they explained why it was used, and again, it made sense within the show. Especially if you watch it till the end, and realise what the song actually is, how it was used through the years, and what it ended up being. Don't like the song, but love the lore they built around it. -About witches not liking brooms: again an odd choice to pick, it's one comment from one which that is not mentioned again, or plays any role in the series. You didn't like it, move on. -The treehouse: multiple plotlines meet in there, for a brief moment, but why mention that, when you can make fun of the CGI... and again, everything was explained within the show, and made sense within the show's rules. When the "Asian lady died" they left her behind, because there was a ghost, and the threat that the house is going to collapse on them, but why pay attention when you can just make fun of it. -Who cares that the origin story was a car crash? there was a good twist to it, move on. -That's not his power, mate, at this point, just don't even make a review... -Even in Wanda Vision they explain that Wanda is warping reality. It's not just her imagination, things are actually real. And then in Agatha All Along they again explain what happened, but paying attention to details seems to be too much to ask from you, at least when it comes to this series. -Episode 7 is definitely the strongest in the series, so much so, that even you had to admit that it was good. Them being dressed up is again explained in the show. Aubrey being death was no surprise at this point, as it was hinted at through the whole series. -They weren't playing around with Agatha being good or bad. She was bad, the whole time. Always played it safe, and trying to use everyone. She was about to leave Bill to death, it was what Bill said at the last moment that changed her mind. Don't think she was misunderstood, or that they were trying to redeem her. She is just a villain, that has some soft spots. -What's up with compering scenes from one movie to another? How many movies have been there in total? You think there's still a scene left that doesn't look like a scene from another movie? Same for series. I can understand the comparison between the Sandra Bullock movies and the first episode, where they deliberately copied scenes, but the ending? They went up some stairs into the light, symbolising a new start. It's a cliché, yes, but in this case it was well used. No mention about the lore of the song, Agatha's child, why death is there, what Bill's role is, what the witches' way is, how some of the witches are connected. The series is worth watching, if you actually pay attention to it, as it explores and explains a lot of it's lore. Is it perfect? No. Are there gay/lesbian moments? Yes. Is there a "message"? No.

Because It’s what happens when the girls see the boys having fun with their toys, so they demand to play with the boys toys, with no understanding as to why those toys brought those boys so much joys Oy
It's worse than that - it's a handful of mean girls doing this out of pure spite, and telling the rest of the girls "we're doing this for you and if you don't join us in bullying the boys and ruining their toys, you're a loser" and the majority of the girls get intimidated into being passive bystanders to all this petty spiteful meanness. Meanwhile the boys are being called bigots for wanting their toys back
Nah the show was great and set up a really cool male character we will get to see grow as his power does. Not every marvel thing gonna be Oscar worthy like avengers and that's OK. Doesn't mean it's not enjoyable to experience.
More like it's time for some of y'all to realize that those "toys" were never/and is not only exclusive to the boys in the first place lol and these boys are just butt hurt that other people aren't playing with the "toys" the way THEY play with it.
He want to look different then other people, nowadays antagonist disney projects seem like a popular trands now. And give the video more views and likes.
"Oh no how can anybody review anything that they don't like but I do"??🤡 That's how the reviews works you watch something regardless whether you like it or not and you make a review
I don't get your point about the guy having a boyfriend. "If you're a kid why are you thinking about that?" because it's normal for 16 year olds to date. I don't know what it is with people lately pretending like there's barely any difference between a little kid and a teenager. It's one thing to protect teenagers from oversexualization and from being pressured to do things they're not comfortable with, but it's another to pretend they don't think about romance and sex.
You know who calls their boyfriend, Boyf? SINGLE PEOPLE. He doesn't have a boyfriend. He has an AI ap to randomly call him from time to time so people nearby think he isn't a total loser. Which is actually possibly the most subtle part of the world building.

No.
I read your whole comment and you ate. Because like me, you CLEARLY watched and paid ATTENTION to the show. 👏

Tbh it wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be 6\10
i give it a 7.3/10. i enjoyed it and was much better than i expected.
At least we finally saw Thanos's girlfriend
She dont even want him 😂 in the comics he was down bad for her but she was focus on deadpool. She used thanks ans nothing more. If anything she just kinky deadpool and now apparently Agatha.
The Groose theme is perfectly fitting
Your skin tone blinded me.
Most straightest movie ever made is Ford Failane, it is so straight, that they they were too afraid to release the sequel.
And it is just sitting somewhere in some shelf, while all this is not selling.
Those leaves were impressive because they were each hand made
i thought the show was better than expected and i enjoyed it...
I was not ready for that start lol
Only The Bob Iger Company could have Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza and Patti LuPone in the same series and STILL make it a massive turd.
Not sure what show you were watching but Agatha All Along was excellent.
actors are only as good as the script and director.
16:50
Holy shit Disney is straight up saying women can’t drive 😂😂
12:45-12:48 great editing. In one shot, her hand is grasping the bowl part of the wine glass. In the next, her hand is grasping the stem.
This show literally turned jonny into a tiktok witch boss
Because It’s what happens when the girls see the boys having fun with their toys, so they demand to play with the boys toys, with no understanding as to why those toys brought those boys so much joys
Oy
It's worse than that - it's a handful of mean girls doing this out of pure spite, and telling the rest of the girls "we're doing this for you and if you don't join us in bullying the boys and ruining their toys, you're a loser" and the majority of the girls get intimidated into being passive bystanders to all this petty spiteful meanness.
Meanwhile the boys are being called bigots for wanting their toys back
Oi !!!
Nah the show was great and set up a really cool male character we will get to see grow as his power does. Not every marvel thing gonna be Oscar worthy like avengers and that's OK. Doesn't mean it's not enjoyable to experience.
@@okcoolbro3fr, I think some marvel fans just got on their shoulder
More like it's time for some of y'all to realize that those "toys" were never/and is not only exclusive to the boys in the first place lol and these boys are just butt hurt that other people aren't playing with the "toys" the way THEY play with it.
wake up babe, new johnny law video just dropped.
My favorite witch is Jonny
Why do you bother reviewing anything when you don't seem to actually enjoy watching anything?
He want to look different then other people, nowadays antagonist disney projects seem like a popular trands now. And give the video more views and likes.
I think this specific video is only merely a bait, considering he missed basically almost every point of the shows.
"Oh no how can anybody review anything that they don't like but I do"??🤡 That's how the reviews works you watch something regardless whether you like it or not and you make a review

Heyyy Jonny boy! Glad to watch again.
I had to check the White Balance for my monitor before I realiced that's really Jonny's skin color.
I just realised they stole the plot form puss in boots 2
No they didnt?
Just cause they both had characters who are Death? You realise Death has been a prominent Marvel character for ages now right?
Dude...Mate...Bro...massive respect you could sit trought that with going insanly mad.
Props to Jonny King
"with[out] going insanely mad"
Did you not see what he is wearing?
MR SHART had me dying laughing
10:57 WTF? What was wrong with that? What is he criticizing? Showing a young gay couple is pedophilia now? Weird.

- The most impressive things on practical sets were trees and leafs...
And the audience agrees with him and leaves...
I don't get your point about the guy having a boyfriend. "If you're a kid why are you thinking about that?" because it's normal for 16 year olds to date.
I don't know what it is with people lately pretending like there's barely any difference between a little kid and a teenager. It's one thing to protect teenagers from oversexualization and from being pressured to do things they're not comfortable with, but it's another to pretend they don't think about romance and sex.
oh Johnny, having the same legs as me, in the same colour. i feel you, brother.
This came out?
Great review J.
I got older and realised marvel was never good in the first place
Same dude

I disagree with 16 being a "kid". 16 year olds are absolutely into that lmao. Lord read Dune if that bothers you.
0:44 that is fact, the endgame movie was the endgame of marvel, they didn't had anything after that worth going.
22:05 its more like all quiet on the Disney front if we‘re all honest here
I salute to you fine gentleman for sacrificing your sanity for our amusement
loved every moment of those first 10 seconds
You know who calls their boyfriend, Boyf?
SINGLE PEOPLE. He doesn't have a boyfriend. He has an AI ap to randomly call him from time to time so people nearby think he isn't a total loser.
Which is actually possibly the most subtle part of the world building.
Thank you for confirming to me that I've made a right decision by cancelling Disney last year as sometimes I think (while seeing join Disney +ad) maybe I should 've join maybe they have something new .then your videos come 😂 You doing God's work here 😉
Can't go to the cinema; New Films are rubbish. Can't stay home and watch telly; Programmes are rubbish. Can't stream anything; The best stuff has been pulled, or re-edited. Can't use the radio; Modern music is rubbish.
Well, at least we have alcohol. There will always be alcohol. Surely they can't do anything bad to booze? Surely not? Booze, no way will the take that away from us.
Alcohol is the next to go, isn't it?
Sadly, our suspicions may be correct. Alcohol Tax! What are we to do if they introduce Sin Tax?

@@shogert2370 Sweet. Tetris is grand. I wasn't impressed by Space Invaders though.
Watching reviews like this makes me glad I stopped mindlessly simping for the MCU after Iron Man.
I want to know where Disney is getting thie $$ to produce this tedium.
The show cost $40 million to make and it was a hit. Disney should keep making well written shows with reasonable budgets like this, instead of spending over $200 million on garbage like Secret Invasion.
6:45 The grift has never been more apparent.
Let's play Bamboozled!
Love your use of WW music
So, outfit for next Open Bar then.
@14:44-15:06
So, you are saying that witches are sexist towards other witches?! What?!?!
Why introduce Death now, when the perfect opportunity (along with that of Adam Warlock) has long since passed by?
I just watched buckaroo banzai, things were bad back then as well.
You need to get out into the sun more! *But, I do like the shape of your moustache.*
That funko pop line.. you, dear sir, are a true wordsmith:)
Agatha, making women childless, empty, and alone with their cats.
I'm gonna be so pissed if Daredevil Born Again turns out to be terrible
Johnny 'o quite merciless on this one.
Is the "everyone" in the room with us right now? 🤔😂
I think you a bit too focus on the romance from the character.
it was actually a good show, you should watch it. johnny is very much mistaken with this review.
ive agreed with him on most of his breakdowns but agatha was genuinely good and well done.
johnny has found that being negative increases his view count, that is obvious, and so here is a negative review of agatha.
