Dirt Bike Magazine was invited to Gatorback Cycle Park in Gainesville, Florida to test the ALL NEW Triumph TF250X. This bike is completely different than the other motocross models on the market. No its not a copy or a replica from another manufacturer. This is 5 years in the making and Triumph is all in on offroad motorcycles moving forward. See what we had to say after our first day of testing in Florida. We can't wait to get a test bike back in California to try more settings and give you more feedback on the website. Stay Tuned!

I’m 67 yrs old, and I want one. Is that selfish? Looks planted and settled. Sounds great. Props to the rider. Parts will be $$$. East coast rocks!
Not at all 😎
Heck no... you deserve one. Even if it's just to look at. Dirtbikes are art...
Nope. My dad is 55. Me and him are gonna both buy one in may
When available to public??
I believe may, but could be sooner...
Cant wait to see the Enduro
Same
Heck Yeah! Way to go Triumph, kick ass. Love to see my home brand making waves.
Hope they make a 300 2 stroke
I get mine in Cali soon a week or so, excited to rip it!
To bad you can't register them anymore. But if you got a local track it don't matter I guess.
This is great for the dirt bike community
The spine frame was smart for when they offer the off road version.
It's about time that Triumph jumped into the dirt bike game. All of the other motorcycle manufacturers need to follow suit...!
Nice bike
Sounds like the rider is bouncing off the rev limiter a lot?
Based on a ktm, id stick with the 48t. Its smoother.
Dude shift the bike
Black plastic is going to look beat real quick, not good.
I should have my hands on one in the next couple of weeks hopefully
Best sounding bike on top
Love all the positive comments in here. Wyg! Thats what im talking about!
I knew people would come around.
Exciting times in the industry.
We are lucky.
Thank you Triumph
its not hard to only be exposed to positive feedback when google ai algorithms delete every single bit of negative feedback
Everything I've heard so far on this bike has been positive, which is great. Over time it will get tweaked, aftermarket will jump on and it'll be even more of a contender. It sounds like Triumph took the best from each manufacturer and made a bike. Good thing they didn't take Suzuki's kick starter 😁

I want one
For a brand new bike right out of the gate, I call that thing a home run. Imagine when they get a few seasons of R&D under their belt.
Mr Carmichael had a hand in R and D
Doesn’t matter… this triumph offers zero reason to switch brands… no innovation, absolutely nothing to separate it from the herd…all hype regardless to the sales spin the softball “reviews” spout….

Oh no! It's a dirtbike, they have copied KTM! Please people, get over KTM. They are good, not the best IMHO but good. What they are not is the holy grail of dirt bikes and not the blueprint for every bike out there. Jayzus!
yup...carbon copy of ktm's frame and suspension, lame
@@meisterbear5275 I can't tell if you're being serious, it's a different brand of suspension and a different material for the frame with different geometry, that's not what carbon copy means.
@@meisterbear5275 hehe
@@everettbranscom6536 Not serious brother, joking and ragging on the pumpkin patch.
out of all the moto magazines you guys admitted it was hitting the rev limiter......i kept hearing it hit the rev limiter on all the other channels and you guys are the only ones who admitted it
Motocross Action said same thing. 😮
Maybe they didn’t need to admit something obvious?
@@gpaull2 could be
maybe they didnt need to 'admit' to something that isnt any kind of issue
Why does it sound so choppy? It sounds like there's something wrong with the fuel injection system. Either that or the rev limiter is set too low. 🤷🏻♂️
Take a look at the Italian made Beta. They have a very wide range of 4stroke and 2stroke 50 state legal enduros.
frame looked like steel yz but this is aluminum
you got to pay for the app......that sucks!!!
A 250cc 2 stroke with the same bore/stroke and revving to 13k rpm (as the 4 banger) could make 80hp and a 450cc in the same conditions probably 100hp
Nope. Efficiency plummets on 2 strokes at high RPM.
@@OtisFlint You're talking about old school technology and I'm talking about over bores. Haven't you heard of Aprilia's RSA125 62hp 125?
Lol ya the moto gp 2 strokes were monsters power wise..But that's one unrideable hp for most any one but sand Drags and ice racing. Two...It would have a nasty peaky hit unlike a 450 flat torque curve. There is a reason the cr 500 was detuned after 85.. the power delivery is completely different for road bikes. They are ported for high rpm wich means you have to give up power everywere else. Even with a power valve essentially giving you 2 different rpm ranges by altering exaust port hight or compression.. or dual power valves even. And 3 you wouldn't be able to get that kinda rpm out of big bore single cylinder 2 stroke.. even fully balanced.. unfortunately this is simply a case of you don't know how much you don't know. A 125 is Not a big bore! And your hp numbers are incorrect for that motor. And it makes less torque than a yz 125 as a trade off for its hp numbers..infact it is kinda just a revision of old road racing technology. Everything about that motor is just decades old technology revised.
@@dormantmenace Modern day technology is built by people with 120-140 IQ tops and the 2 stroke engine people maybe don't even get to that level. Bear in mind that nobody knows the limits of human intelligence and that imagination IS the key to evolution. There are ways to get monster low end torque from a 2 stroke engine AND high rpm power it's just that industrial produtcs are made for even lower IQ people. In sum, if they are buying...
@@OtisFlintcheck out those 2 stroke go kart motors . My Yamaha old KT 100 screams . Sounds like a bee .😂
Sounds like an ad. 2nd video I saw on this bike with the same non-specific info.
First comment lol
Why hit REVlimiter EVERYTIME before shifting??
SHIFT SOONER
why in the hell is there traction control on a dirtbike?
They all have it now
@@LEEROY_UK yes its an option but why, not a single rider in the world uses it, only function is on street with 4 wheels
To help with traction in the dirt. Duh.
It’s for different surface types. Dirt, mud, sand etc. It’s not like a street bike TC, more like changing throttle response and power deliver on the rotation.
10K for that thing when you can get a Kove MX250 for 6K? Just no. Also a british (unreliable) bike just no!
What's the reliability of the 6k Kove? 😂😅😂😅
@@rmxrider20032000 undoubtedly better than triumph...
@@rmxrider20032000 If a company can field 3 Dakar rally bikes and finish all three in the first 3 years of their existence, yeah, I'll put my money on them over any british anything...
It's not 1965 anymore. Triumph have been one of the most reliable bikes for a decade. Their moto2 engine is setting records in power and reliability. The kommunist kove is junk. It's easier to build a bike when you don't have to follow any of the rules as far as trademark, copyright and intellectual property and they still make junk.
@@stephenlnoe- The kove dakar bike is a dog…it’s been detuned for reliability to give it the best shot of finishing dakar. A bike designed by them for performance is not going to automatically have the same reliability. The reliability of either bike you’re referring to is total speculation at this point.
