Everything about this is fantastic, The building, colour scheme, the motorisation. I’m glad you chose this colour scheme, really shows it off👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Ian
Good Morning to You Mike! I just happened upon this video and I must say You have done a smashing good job on this build! And motorized as well! I am very impressed with Your abilities Sir! I am looking forward to watching more of Your video soon! Thank You for taking the time effort and consideration with Your work to share with Us here in tubeland! I build that kit back in 1972, I am hoping to find another someday. Take Care, Be Safe, God Bless, Later Oh, New subscriber! Later
Nice results! I'm hoping the ICM release in 1/72 brings some new decal options. Maybe even some interest in a 1/72 CH/HH-3. The same 1960s era kit as the Skycrane, is just needing a replacement.
DAMN..... Very Good!!! I want to do the same type of build.....showing this helo as a fire-fighting helo!! BUT, to you have the water tank underneath??
@@307vrr "difficult to find and expensive." IF expensive....... did you find one in 1/72?? I saw a water tank, but it was for that 'ICM' 1/35 (??) scale helo......... WAY Too Big for me!
Rotors not props, Control tubes not pipes, N numbers not serial numbers You could of put a messy red and white paint scheme on it and call it SILLER BROTHERS or Red and Blue HEAVY LIFT on it. S 54 E that Ericson has is Two wheeled bogies on each aft gear and a top engine fire wall, Built the model as a kid 50 years ago and worked on the real thing 25 years ago
@@HongyaMa I know...I KNOW 😃 My son was an aircraft tech for the British Army...He worked on the Apache and Wildcat. But there's to many letters in them words 😃 The kit came with another scheme, WESERFLUG BREMEN of Germany but I liked the bright coloured Erickson. I googled what you said about the rear wheels and you are right...I saw some with two wheels and some with one....I never noticed 👍👍

A classic old kit brought to life by the power of modelling skill and patients. Love that helicopter, thanks so much for building it.
