This is a compelling demo, and I was really impressed with the CP1. I spoke with a Yamaha rep about the CP1, as I was thinking about picking one up. Right now it is a six month wait to get one. Resellers in the USA do not stock them because of the very low demand. You can order them from resellers in USA, but Yamaha will only process the order if it is pre-paid. This means, ostensibly that the CP1 is nearly impossible to procure new.
Wow, I always wondered what would be better to get, a real piano or an electronic keyboard but these are so adjustable to personal preferences and they sound very much like the real piano's
@UMTomaS Unfortunately, the triple pedal board included with the CP1 is not compatible with the DGX640. The CP1 has three 1/4 inch pedal inputs on the back of the keyboard...those inputs are not found on the DGX640, only that multipin pedal input for the LP7. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. - Dave McCullough Kraft Music Marketing (800)783-3368
May I buy this pedalboard separately? I want to use it on my DGX-640 (hope they have the same connector) but I don't like the pedalboard dedicated for my keyboard (LP-7) because of the plastic pedals and some other things..
@TheMorphrick Like most professional stage pianos, the CP1 does not have any built-in speakers. You can connect the CP1 to any external speakers or PA system. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. - Dave McCullough Kraft Music Marketing (800)783-3368
Hi Tony,Is there a way to make the Yamaha CP1 sound great through live speakers, sounds great through through my headphones and my studio but I don't like the sound in a live situation,Thanks Reggie
Tanks, dude! I just sold the Nord Stage because of you and Michael Ruff! CP 1 is the solution! Respekt and thank you Tony Escueta ! :-)
That was beautiful at the beginning. Great job!

How much piano scales does it has?

Reggie Bouffard If your CP1 sounds good through headphones, but bad through speakers, then you're using crap speakers. Try upgrading to B&W speakers.
que belleza de teclado, tanto su sonido como su estetica. muy sobrio y elegante.
quiero uno ahora ya.
does the piano have built in speaker?
