Hey everyone, I was the editor for this series, and it has come to my attention that Braviary CAN'T be female. I am dumb. When you get to that point, please just imagine a different female bird Pokemon instead. Thanks for watching!
Great tutorials Kallie! The last time I made a competitive team was in ORAS and boy how some things have changed. Your next video should be about shiny hunting/breeding!
Man taking note of these facts are really crazy but I thank you for the facts needed to make a competitive pokemon amazing but one more question because of the new games will there be a part 4 to let us know of what can we do to prepare?
I have a question… I’ve heard that EVs don’t really factor into breeding but it’s confusing because some sites in the past have told me that enough IVs will raise any particular stat and then that star’s value can be passed down to the babies… and for a long time, I believed it but I’m questioning it now because now so many people are saying that’s not what happens. If that is true, then how come my last two Purrloins, with the same IVs as their parents, got way higher hidden base stats? I’ll explain about what I saw with them to make it clearer. The parents, when they were Purrloins themselves, easily got knocked off their paws on Route 1 and it was very frustrating for me. However, these two new babies hatched from them after I’d leveled the parents up to 50, were instead knocking OTHER Pokémon for a loop on Route 1. So it appeared to me that the EVs gained by the parents affected the stat outcome of the babies???
Need more of these please!!! Maybe take is through the process in a bit more depth? Breeding for IVs And EV training I get I think most people do. But allocation of egg moves, sealing them from catagories and accessing hidden Egg moves and then nature's are more specific can you elaborate on them please?
This is really confusing to me. From what i understand all this ev iv stat stuff is only manageable in the later pokemon games? Not in firered or pokemon x for example? Also let's say i choose a squirtle for my starter how do i know what ivs he has and what evs he has and start building him up? Do i just level him to 100 and start giving him berried to make his evs go to zero and then start from there?
My brain isn’t as fast as the pace your speaking. It’s hard to absorb what you’re saying when you’re moving through everything so fast. Not your fault. Obvi I’m just a bit slow.

Don't worry bout it, we all make mistakes. I'm over here struggling to understand basic competitive battles ;-;
Hey everyone! Thanks for getting this far. I hope these videos helped you learn something and maybe encouraged you to try out competitive Pokémon!
It’s overwhelming still but I learned a lot. Thanks!

essentially, you're gonna do a ton of inbreeding to get the perfect pokemon.

Any tips you wouldn’t mind sharing to a beginner on those topics you were looking into a year ago?
I would really appreciate it 😁
I got one question, professor 😂 i thought vitamins only worked for the first 100 evs or was that changed in later games?

What do you mean almost every legendary
Takes way too long, I'm just gonna use PKSM to modify them manually
I'm not good with math on how many HP Ups to buy if the pokemon stat is 236
