  • I told you before, don't visit Malaysia if you do not like good food, friendly people and beautiful nature.
Malaysia is a south-east asian country home to a wide variety of cultures and religions. The country is home to one of the tallest mountains in the world, with pristine beaches and some of the best dive sites in the world.
Malaysia has some of the tallest buildings in the world, it's home to the largest flower in the world and dozens of festivals throughout the year.
I highly suggest you visit Malaysia, unless you never eat, swim or like people!

We just got home from a 7 week trip to Malaysia. Not our first trip to Malaysia but our first time in Malaysian Borneo. Unfortunately we only made it to Labuan and Sabah (on Borneo) but we absolutely loved it there. As a couple of seniors from Canada we are obvious to the locals which was great to start conversations. Be it a Grab driver or people on the street we really felt the love. Malaysian people are very kind. We had a young man buy our bag of "junk food" (chips and drink) as he paid for his items at the check out. Yes, after he found out we were from Canada he just paid! Been home one week and we're freezing out butts off here! Sarawak Laksa would sure help warm us up. Originally we were slightly worried about Borneo during the rainy season which ended up being a non issue. We never had any activity or tour ruined by rain but enjoyed the rain we did have. ❤🇲🇾

When visiting Malaysia, especially the charming villages, you’ll encounter many locals who offer goods at remarkably low prices due to their genuine kindness. While these deals may seem inexpensive, especially considering foreign exchange rates, I encourage you not to take advantage of their generosity. If you can, consider paying a bit more than what they ask; your extra contribution is a small gesture that can make a big difference to the local sellers. Remember, supporting local businesses not only helps sustain their livelihoods but also reciprocates the warm hospitality they offer to all visitors. Let’s show our appreciation and ensure a positive impact during our travels!

How come you forget to tell that sunrise times are so unstable in Malaysia that you cannot wake up at 6.00 am in KL and expect rays of sunshine on your face to greet you like in Sabah & Sarawak? 😆😆

I like when he says nobody want to see rafflesia flowers when outside people just take the flowers just to sell it and never planted the seed back.

I lived in Malaysia for 4 years, many years ago. I loved it! Can someone please help me, though. I was told that the birthday person is the one who pays for a birthday dinner in a restaurant with friends. Is that true? Because that’s what I recently told someone, then I realized, maybe I’m wrong about that?
Anyway, I have so many fond memories of Malaysia and its amazing people!
