My fan couldn’t take the weight of the frozen bottles so I placed a nice size pan behind my fan …froze 2liter bottles and placed in pan behind my fan and the result was the same. Except easier ☺️
When it's hot u will improvise!!! More time & resources... the better the idea?! I'm thinking of an idea using chilled water in an ice container (a cooler!)with a drain button at the base(so it can be emptied & refilled with ice!)! My biggest question is how long it will cool & the temperature difference it will make based on heat transfer across the cooled area!? If my calculations are good & minimal energy cost used.... I'm on to something!!!
Much better then other young Odie talk guy showing empty free lemon lime soda bottles never seen that brand &ice cubes empty out ,with poked holes cut open base. This you can take off & really reuse, put other bottles that already frozen. I always keep plenty frozen.

My first thought is..how do you stop the water dripping on to the fan?? The top bottle will drip water into the fan as the ice melts! water and electricity doesn't bode well..!! Great concept, dangerous action...smh HOW did you not realise this??

Won’t the Condensate create issues with: 1. Safety issues with elect motor when condensate is dripping on it. 2. Rust issue on fan blade cage when it directly contact with condensate all the time
What a DIY?? Well, your video is of great help. My Office AC used to make sounds, then I called up www.excelaircon.com.au/commercial.html, there was some problem with the condensation duct. After watching your video, now I am confident to do the AC servicing myself.

To the pea brains defending this video, no this is not an air conditioner. It is an air cooler. An air conditioner uses refrigerant And a compressor. This “idea” is similar to a swamp cooler but it lasts a short time. Instead get the arctic air or something or just make your own swamp cooler. This is way worse and more rp expensive and requires more maintenance

Electricity ⚡️ & water 💧 do not mix you get a wet floor You can get electrocuted🤷♂️ Also a thermometer 🌡 before & after the make shift AC . Would help too. This could be dangerous. However it can be safe by being a bit more clever. Sincerely

I just put a very thin sheet in the freezer let it get very cold, & cover myself with it . This helps a little but it's better than nothing at all.

Put the bottles on the front, then dripping water will be pushed away, duh

Shiju Vs put ur hand behind a fan and notice the back is sucking air slightly. That’s how it works.
The fan sucks in air from behind that it shoots out the front. Making it cold behind the fan causes it to shoot out colder air.
