@SlickBlackCadillac get guud...lol..jk..yeah its a learning curve..adds some fun challenge to it tho..makes u feel cool when u pull off a tough landing
@TheNintenja yeah I was 11 when I got it in 98 and had no Internet or support system to figure out what I was doing wrong. If I had an older bro or someone who was doing it right and showing me what to do it would probably be a better game in my memory
You're so right about how being good was relative back in the day. I was a huge gamer back when I was a kid. My friends and I would system-link 4 Xboxes together and play Halo tournaments for hours every weekend with up to 16 players. I was so dominant that if I lost even a single round, people would act like hell froze over lol. Always makes me wonder how good I really would have been if I was playing against the best of the best online.
The only reason this game is still relevant in 2025 is because the gaming industry has done a terrible job at making decent Snowboarding games. Sure there's a few, especially SSX series, but that peaked in PS2 days, and never got a decent replacement.
True. I could see it going up in value espcially new ones. Emulation has improved for it tho. I think ill do a showcaseof virtual boy in blue color(as opposed to the horrible red they chose)
This game was popular here in Australia too. Loved it.
I remember being disappointed with this game because the landing was too unforgiving.

@Jason-se1ke you would have gotten even better. The challenge would have pushed you tonew strategies and improving your skills further

N64 controllers are brutal, I will never miss them
@stalwartzero7001 playing with an xbox one controller is pretty nice gotta be honest
@ it’s just the hardest plastic joystick. It’s like the entire controller was designed with no one in mind
cool boardedrs
Crazy I thought for sure I was the only one who’s played this this year.
@@dpeezy91sooners the urge comes back every 10 years or so
I don't know why, but I always preferred Twisted Edge snowboarding on the N64. I did like 1080 also though.
Friends don't let friends play N64 in 16:9.
@hipnotyq thanks for looking out. I had 4k upscalsed textures so itx better in 16:9
Be nice if there more courses on it.
@@BananaR777 agreed...the ones that are there are really good tho imho
1080 legendary just bought n64 and unlocking all stuff can't figure out howto get penguin board

@steverempel8584 yes..true..ssx seeme like the only thing that can compete with 1080. And ssx ended years ago
Always thought this game was trash. Cool boarders for PlayStation was far superior
@@griffn5135 fair..a lot of people loved coolboarders
I traded my Virtual Boy for this game and 20 dollars cash.
@@MysteryD that was a steal for u :)
@TheNintenja not when you consider a virtual boy with box and manuals and everything are super rare. I kinda wish I still had the virtual boy lol
