This video was so helpful. I assembled my slide roof shed, by myself, in 2.5 hours, including parenting breaks. Screws didn't always go in as easy as the video showed but this made the world of difference!
2.5 hours? Seriously? That’s impressive. My wife found this video halfway through the installation of our second of these, and elapsed time will be at least 7 hours…
Great video def helped me install mine, which was similar but the clay colored. Wish my screws went in that easy. It took a lot of effort even with the drill to get the screws in. I had to drill pilot holes for some.. I think the screws need to be sharper or more self tapping, otherwise the install wasn't bad. Took 3hrs with my Dad helping me.
OK, if you have not purchased this yet… well, 36 pages of English instructions (over 100 pages overall) should send you a message. The message? Don’t walk away, run away! Whatever possessed Rubbermaid to replace a much simpler shed with an extraordinarily complex to assemble one? Anyway, this video is a good resource to survive building what can only be described as the Rube Goldberg of sheds…
Slide roof often will not slide open. It hits in the back. If it is in the sun and the roof is hot it will open. If it is in the shade it will not open.
Not happy with mine at all. putting the roof on was hell and I had a mechanical engineer helping. Also the braces on the side wall keep popping out. Would not recommend
I bought this shed about a year ago and love the size and the fact that the top slides. My problem is that the top now is getting caught on the back roof and you can not easily slide it without physically going inside and pushing up on the front roof part. How can this be adjusted / fixed to make it easily slide back?
This shed doesn't come close to being as easy to assemble or use as the one it replaced (ROUGHNECK MODEL 3752 - 13 screws compared to over 100 for this one) The flatter roof on 3752 allowed me to sit something down while I opened the doors. The much more difficult to assemble roof with a pitch & probably future problems I haven't encountered yet, just lets anything slide right off & out of reach. This shed is thinner & flimsy in comparison to the earlier model. The floor is 3 pieces instead of the two heavier duty pieces of the older model. The foot print (I used the same foundation) is smaller. I've already spent much time & elbow grease trying to remove a scuff mark on the lighter colored & smoother finish on this new shed. My son has large hands & had the skin off of several knuckles & blood mixed with sweat had to be cleaned before we could think of using this shed. Brackets & screws close to the edge & corners took the skin right off! The helpful hint in small print to drill holes prior to putting in the screws is on the next to the last page. We had figured that one out on about page 3 & when all was said & done we had 5 broken drill bits using all of the smaller bits from two tool sets. We have 8 accessory brackets listed in the parts but never shown or told where to put them or what they're for. I tried for days to find out the measurements of the box the shed was shipped in so we'd know if it would fit in our vehicle. When we went to see if the measurements were on the box, they were not & the Walmart it was shipped to did not have a tape measure to measure it. I ask if they had a piece of string that they could measure off & I'd take it home to measure it. They did not have any string. We were not allowed in the area where the shed was. They took a picture of it but without anything to compare it to, the picture was of no help. We ended up getting them to put the box outside. We took it out of the box & put it in our SUV with room to spare. Just telling anyone who's still reading, this is a big mistake by RUBBERMAID. They need to start making the MODEL 3752. iT SNAPS TOGETHER IN NOTHING FLAT & IS MUCH MORE SERVICEABLE. Someone picked our old shed up from the curb & they have a much better shed even with the holes critters had made in it than we have with this one.
Earlier one was much easier, just took one person and at least a quarter of the time. Still have it and works great after 4 years. This design is a royal pain!

Thanks so much for this video! It cut my install time in half👍🏼👍🏼
Will I be able to build this shed if I'm good at Lego?

I think you need buy a new unit.
@@user_tc3wr2el5b I just removed the metal piece from the inside part of the sliding roof and now the roof opens and closes without any problems.
Yvonne, would you still buy the unit after your issues?
Or lube it maybe
Yvonne Breedlove Nicely 👍
this is the shortest one that I found. I need this size with a flat roof and front entrance to put under our deck for bike storage.
Can some one help me where can I get one like this en México or USA. Thanks in advance.
Amazon. Home depot
