They've actually made multiple appearances in several continuities, they were in the idw movie comics, and the regular idw comics. they've been released in several toylines like universe, classics and generations, and most recently several of them have been in Cyberverse. Acidstorm even had a masterpiece figure
There has been a propensity to do random repaints including G2 - so I wouldn't rule out a Black or Ghost Starscream or a Black and Gold Starscream or even a G2 Starscream with camo on him. Heck if they want to get really batty on their repaint choices there is the Action Master Thundercracker or Starscream decos. Some have also speculated their could be a 35th Anniversary Cell-shaded Starscream and Soundwave too.

It'd be interesting to see how they do Slipstream. Maybe same backpack and then a more slender body. Also make the front nose cone a little more pointed or angled forward.

These guys are a good example (in my opinion) where cartoon accuracy is not necesarily a good thing. Also it's been raining a lot today so this video is very appropiate.

It was in a comic shop, i like couldn't make eye contact w the guy and made transaction quick like i felt guilty or something lol. Not that u should give a damn but hey, have a good day...
That flap that tabs in to their heads can stay level behind them in robot mode. There are slots in the pylons that the little tabs fit in. It also looks the heads into place so they don't fold back when looking up.
It could be that they used a certain acid that affects the alloy that the autobot's use for armor. I believe that the autobot's and Decepticons use different armor alloys

I admit a lot of hesitation starting on getting the siege seekers. I did order Red Wing who’ll I’ll be getting soon. And the Rainmakers is one I’ve been excited to see for a long time and will definitely get. Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker though I’m really hesitant because moreso than the other seekers, these have the earth jets so tied to their identity. I know ultimately this’ll be up to personal preference, but is the mold and tetra jet alt mode good enough to make up for no earth jets?
In my school vr game the rain makers are a summon where you have a special flare gun once called they show up and cause the shock burn and disolvsion affects and to get the summon you need to fight tekkacon rotornator

Ion Storm is capable of triggering a massive electrical charge that can stuff up heaps of Bots over a decent distance (but gets exhausted and needs a while to recharge). Nova Storm is apparently invincible, and I mean he literally can fly straight through thick walls of metal that can handle the most powerful armaments (as in, he actually did that) - he crashes into you, you are stuffed. I think they wrote it that Acid Rain did the acid rain, and Ion Storm was just there to help spread it.. Not the three of them together... Or its been retconned. And all three of them combined were the bots that hunted down and killed Sentinel Prime (Transformers War World #25 by IDW). Also they are very weird, they will stand in a triangle and have the palm of each hand pressed against the palm of the other two. They also HAVE not, and seemingly WON'T (or can't) speak, whether its to each other, or anyone else whatsoever. The other bots seem to know this. They took charge of the Senate, alongside Megatron, Soundwave and Strika (one of the great generals). So they are heavy duty and relied on by Megatron (note Starscream is playing his own game and hasn't joined yet, Thundercracker I have no idea about where he is, and Skywarp MIGHT be out of the picture due to the fact that essentially a 'clone war' was fought using him as a template - doubt ANYONE wants to see him hanging about).
I expect Sunstorm, Slipstream and the coneheads. Even Hotlink is a possibility. Or just toss in the other 2. What I do know is that these seekers, all of them sell really well. So it creates a lot of incentive to make more. What I really really hope for is Slipstream, with the way the figures work it is practically a jet with a robot folded underneath, so redesigning the robot to be feminine is easy. And it would be the first voyager fem-con.
Hotlink, Sunstorm, Bitstream, Nacelle, Dirge, Thrust, Ramjet, Slipstream still could come! We’re only halfway there, lol. And what else could they throw in? Armada repaint Starscream? Ghost Starscream?

There is a easier way to deal with the connector piece for the head. They have grooves on what finishes the look for the seekers that become the nose cone for the alt mode. Cleans the look up more acting as a filler piece.
Very interesting video, thank you. There has been some bio information for all of the Rain Makers, but I an unsure if it is canon or fan creation (because we all know there is a lot of that). According to one source, the reason why the Rain Makers work as a team is their abilities stack. All three can generate Acid rain, but when they work together, the acid is more dangerous. Acid Storm has the acid, Ion Storm can electrify the cloud making it more energetic and the acid more active, and Nova Storm has another ability that also makes it more difficult (it was a long time ago I read this, sue me). Oh, and about the rain only affecting Autobots, it doesn't. It is not true acid rain, but a corrosive liquid meant to attack electronics. Chip would have been affected by it, as long as he got it off him in time, it wouldn't have any long term affects. His wheelchair likewise would have been slightly damaged, but as it appeared to have no electronics, there was nothing for the rain to damage. The rain probably affects Autobots and Decepticons alike, but the Rain Makers are most likely deployed in areas where there are no Decepticons or the Decepticons are signaled to take cover. The Rain Makers cause the storm, either destroying or weakening Autobots caught out in it, and then other Decepticons come in and clean up.
Hasbro should do an armada bundle. Has starscream, skywarp, thundercracker, redwing, rainmakers and possibly the clone heads if they do them. It would be expensive but worth it just to have a seeker army in 1 lurches would be amazing. For price maybe 165-180 American it needs to be a deal bundle

You essentially have a sentai team of tetrajet transformers. You’ve got a red ranger(Red Wing), a blue ranger(Ion Storm, since he’s more blue than Thunder Cracker), a yellow ranger(Nova Storm), a green ranger(Acid Storm), and the other rangers.
This review was a lot more entertaining than I expected it to be. The 5th/6th/7th use of this mold didnt make wait with bated breath. However, Balt's new format and discussion of the trio's origins and powers made it a lot of fun. The Battle damage still looks like "dookie" to me and ruins the vehicle mode alas. Still, it is a great mold/figure.

Yeah, that wear/dirt/paint/schmutz pattern gets *really* annoying when it's *exactly* the same on each and every seeker. They either need to release them as 'clean' versions, or change it up between the different characters.

I always assumed that the Ion Storms ion and EMP abilities were able to Ionize the Acid Rain to only affect the circuitry of the Autobots because they maybe ionized differently?
Personally I like the seige grit on these guys, it gives them something other then being a single solid color; though Nova storm looks like a ripe banana.

They made Masterpiece figures based on MP-11 for both Sun Storm and Acid Storm. I think this is why they received releases in WFC:S.

Great review!! When transforming to robot mode, you can put the head flap straight back (flat) which will lock the head base.

Personally I like the seige grit on these guys, it gives them something other then being a single solid color; though Nova storm looks like a ripe banana.

Given that the blue one is almost like thundercracker, they should have made it another colour like orange etc
