Absolutely brother, agree with you a hundred percent…. After all, it has been made by Nissan whose engineers focus on the build quality and driving characteristics rather than the Korean mechanics who focus on the interiors and pointless features like sunroof, wireless charger or a sound system with a large touchscreen and 8 speakers….

I bought a Petrol Kicks some 3.5 months back. And 7-8 visits to the service center till date. I am tired now. Small suggestion, please stay away from the Kicks and the brand. I was better off with my previous Honda City

Please suggest if I should take the chance or I should go with Creta to be on a safer side. As such I liked the Kicks ver much during my multiple test rides, both of Creta and Kicks... I understand your concern. I think the precise reason for this is because review is focused for indian customers. There are other channels who have covered kicks in english.
Sir, it's quite clear that the product is a lot better than Creta. Maybe not a lot better but it surpasses Creta in some departments. But do you think it's wise to buy it considering the reliability of Nissan in India. I have been doing extensive research for the last 2 months and like this car a lot but I just don't feel confident of putting my money on a Nissan.
Deepanshu, I bought it 3 months back and regretting my decision. My kicks had gone to the service center around 7-8 times and as on today its still in service center, why? Very hot air was coming from the vents while AC was switched off. Temperature was so high that the stalk behind steering wheel to switch on the headlamp became hot. So I measured the temperature, it turned out to be around 43 degrees Celsius. I complained about it, initially they said it's normal because engine heat will come inside to some extent. I said this is fine but so high, 43 degrees Celsius? Then they again took my car yesterday and its still there... . Its your money buddy, spend wisely. There are better cars available.
Nissan shoukd have given a autobox with Kicks also launching its late and close to harrier has created a problem for the brand and product it would have sold many more
Nissan is such a good conpany the problem it faces here in India is they are not paying attention to the Indian Market and needs I still remember the fabulous job done by Nissan in the year 2012-2014 while it sold out so many units of Micra and Nissan but Nissan isn’t launching any facelift models and Micra and Sunny really feel outdated now and lack technology

Nissan Kicks sales is suffering because of brand value & pricing in India. I would only pay 12.5 lacs maximum for the top of the line Diesal MT variant. Because we have Maruti, Hyundai, Honda, Ford, Tata, Mahendra, VW, Scoda..... whose brand values are way ahead on the list of Indian buyers. To take that extra risk inspite of less nos. of Sales & Service network the vehicle needs to be priced correctly to attract buyers with mouthwatering price tags. In India once the perception sets in that the vehicle is expensive for whatever reasons. However hard you may try it will fail to attact customers to your showroom. Once lost its lost for every. Price, Value for money - looks, brand value or status, loaded features & after sales Services are an important part of buying vehicles in our country.

@@rahulagarwal7515 if your budget permit XV variant is good. otherwise XL is fine. regarding mileage we may not expect more than 13 to 14 such big vehicles. driving dynamics and suspension is excellent. actually i would like to buy xv petrol variant. But my budget will not permit. so, i am waiting to increase my budget. If your budget permits take XV petrol version without any doubt. But i recomend to take a test drive before purchasing decission. one more thng, if you want to keep that vehicle several years then only go for purchase otherwise resale of nissan is not good.

I own a 2013 Terrano. Ride quality is unparalleled. Only sour point is Steering is very heavy and also the clutch(after 50000km)

Hello Rahul, Kicks is a very good car. I took the delivery of my XL petrol last week on 25th April (bronze gray) and trust me i am enjoying it.
