I own the top model of the Kicks XV premium optional diesel BSIV. It's wonderful car. I have driven 800 km at one go through hilly terrains of Northeast India. It's too good. Excellent riding comfort. Excellent performance in hilly roads. Overall mileage 20 kmpl with Eco mode. Highway mileage as high as 21 kmpl with AC.
Yes, clutch and hand brakes were issues initially. Now I am completely used to it.
I strongly recommend this car. Far far better than Creta.

If u think sunroof is missing. People who own a creta sx(o) hardly use it
I own a Creta Sx(0) top spec Facelifted model and sunroof is really useful. It's not meant to be open all the time dude. Just open the sun shade and and you'll feel airy in the cabin. That is the purpose of Sunroofs sadly which you don't know lol.

@@Sanataniladkaaaa108 Sunroof in India acts as a greenhouse dude. If you have a panaromic sunroof its cool otherwise it's a gimmick. We own a q3. The sunroof is big, it makes the cabin airy for sure but it gets hot and the Ac also doesn't seem to help much. The q7 has a good one though.

Actually i am surprised but nissan kicks sold more than 1000 units in its first month. It is a nice car. Harrier sold 820 units in first month.
In qatar I tested juke & kicks before Indian launch . Yet I prefer creta and using it's 1.6 sx petrol model(in India) . I feel Hyundai is better

Generally BODY ON FRAME vehicles are termed as real SUVs and pickup trucks as utility vehicles. These so calles SUVs based on monocoque architecture are cross overs itself. Even the Jeep Grans Cherokee in all its iterations is advertised and sold in US markets as crossover itself. So these cars are basically jacked up hatchbacks or cross hatches. Iam not complaining just wanted to share my toughts.

I wish we got the diesels in the USA. Great looking little SUV----but we have the gas engine version here. Still a great value with a lot of features. I wish Mahindra would sell their vehicles in the USA too. We can buy the tractors here, but not the little trucks and SUVs.

My family owns the Nissan Micra, which is a 3 cylinder unit which produces 80hp and red lines at 7000RPM. It loves to rev! We took the car back in 2014. Now it has been discontinued. Also, we had an Eon which had a lot of issues. So we sold it and bought the new Hyundai Creta. I always told dad to take the Nissan Kicks because of its better handling, perfomance and build quality. The creta is comfortable, smooth and looks premium. It is a good car, but still feels very disappointing for me that we couldn't take the Nissan Kicks🙂.... Hope they don't quit the Indian market🙂💔

You said the steering is heavy at parking speeds and lightens up at highway speeds. Was that a mistake? Did you mean to say light at parking speeds?
I find the kicks better than the old Creta in every aspect. Older version of Creta was bit too over rated. I felt the dashboard was really very poorly designed and of bad quality. And was not at all spacious inside. But kicks feel better in every aspect.
Nissan makes great cars, particularly amazed by the 85 hp Terrano and Skyline, was lucky to drive them both for quite some time, but somehow i feel like Nissan will be forced to quit India operations at some time.

Hi Faisal. Would be good if your camera fitment on the head is bit more focussed. We have a lot of waste area in the screen to the top of the subject and some of the required part(for eg the boot opening) is going out of the screen. Rest all your videos are too good...

Opinion on Harrier vs Kicks?
I have test driven 23 Cars to find my first car. Few cars which were outstanding were Ford Ecosport, VW Polo and Nissan Kicks. I initially like Tata cars and I was in love with Tiago JTP but had to drop because of dashboard rattles and poor fit and finish. I am leaning towards Ecosport, then I test rode the Kicks just want to strike this one off the list. Well, I was delightfully surprised. (I have driven Venue, Seltos and Harrier as well). Kicks mid variant diesel is such a value for money car with VDC (electronic stability program which is more important than air bags) which no other car in this price range offers. ( Ford S diesel has this but it is a segment below in terms of space). 1. Value for money 2. The best ride quality and handling under 20 Lakhs 3. Good quality. At 13.5 lakhs this is one of the best cars to buy in Indian market. I am sad to see Nissan not marketing enough (things are going to change as Rakesh srivatsva is md of Nissan now). One humble request to people test drive Nissan Kicks before you buy any car. Kia seltos is over hyped. Its diesel variant does not have ESP and is smaller than kicks. People just fall for paid reviews and marketing gimmicks. That Bose system sounded really cheap.
