Not surprising that the heroes hate him but like you said hates him. Even Shao Kahn and Sindel, tyrannical despots who are responsible for the enslavement and oppression of thousands of innocents hate him. Takes a special kind of evil that earn that much hate.

At first, I wished they had gotten Mark Hamill for Joker but, I remembered that this is Injustice/MK VS DC Joker. Plus Richard Epcar is awesome at voicing Joker anyway. He's an amazing voice actor.
Unfortunately, Mark Hammil won't do that without Kevin Conroy as Batman. After he heard about Kevin Conroy passed, away from cancer, he won't be the Joker ever again.

I remember back in the day 10ish years ago now some people thought that The Joker and DC in general didn't fit in Mortal Kombat.
But nowadays, we know that The Joker at least fits perfectly. MK is a place where even the heros won't hesitate to immolate, disebowel, behead or literally crush you. The Joker would be having the greatest time in his life over there.
I think Bane would fit in pretty well too.

Joker in mortal kombat is almost heaven for a being like him.
With the Joker's dialogue with Shang Tsung, It speaks volumes about how evil you are when even the Joker calls you out for it, the only other character who was like that for the was Red Skull.

It sucks that he’s gone and his loss is definitely felt but Batman keeps moving forward.

I love how even the villain characters can’t stand the Joker (not Frost, not Noob Saibot, not Shao Kahn, not Shang Tsung, and especially not Kano).
This incarnation of the character is by far the most dangerous, where others would wholeheartedly unite to take him down (he even pulls out a gun to shoot his opponent during a Friendship).

As much as I have a personal vendetta against Mortal Kombat 11, I do have a soft spot whenever the Character Interactions makes references to other moments both inside and outside the game. And I'd make the argument that the Joker has the overall best references in MK11.
