90% of playthroughs act like the Devil Breaker button doesn't exist so I appreaciate speedruns for showing that it's an actual good utility that can get you through fights
For me it was basically Nero's version of activating DT to escape combos or grabs before he got his own DT.

So what is easiest boss in the game?

That'd easily have to go to Goliath. Not because he's the first official boss after you fight the house plant it's because he couldn't get past my Overture Devil Breaker. And if you've completed Devil Hunter you know you unlock Nero's Devil Trigger at the end of the game and let me tell you... You can literally take whole chunks of his health using a combination of attacks between your Devil Trigger and Overture. It's broken as hell. A lot of these bosses were easy for me.

I would say at least 20 hours... Also speak less work more when it comes to DMC cause this has been happening since DMC 4

Timing the rev on the Red Queen is actually quite easy.

Dude you’re an absolute machine at the DMC series, just curious how do you rank DMC 5 against the other games? I have been enjoying it but compared to the classics excluding 2 obviously it just feels like there is something missing, I honestly still prefer 4s combat to 5s too

It's really not all that hard you just gotta literally git gud. Learn to time your revs in between your attacks while switching from different weapons. Also learn how to incorporate the Devil Breakers into your combos they can help a shit ton. I recommend Overture that seems to be the best Devil Breaker to use in combat.

this made me realize, the beggining of dmc 5 and 3 are simmilar, first you have the easy level where you learn the controlls (mission 01 for 3, prologue in 5), then the first "boss" thats actually hot garbage (scythe guy and qlipoth root), then the first boss (They sound simmilar, get mocked more than alot of the other bosses) and right after defeating it, new mysterious character shows up (v and lady)
Devs: We don't need collision with these surfaces, who would go there?

Hey there! I'm looking to learn this speedrun myself and would love to know if there's a video or something where I can learn some of the tricks you do!
Rev timing is the key to being SSStylish with Nero, but you dont have to be necessarily as godly as this dude, just incorporating it into certain attack patterns is good enough, you should also use high damage or good-for-the-mission devil breakers. You may need to learn the spawn patterns but eh, I don't think that'll be a big problem for a speed runner, just mostly dodge and deal as much damage as you can.
