That was mind blowing! That much snow in one storm? Those Toro’s are amazing! Not a one truck pony. These commercial properties are a more than two person job regarding snow. It’s a slower process and we are not sure how many of them you have. But I think you are an amazing couple with an amazing work ethic.

No one can tell me that those Multi Forces aren't one of the best machines out there. The versatility and QUALITY is top notch! When Toro Nails it... they really NAIL IT!! Great job guys, awesome video!!

They arent. Cost. Your outside the entire time. Can be very cumbersome in small corners. Dont have the weight behind them in heavy, wet snow. Maybe in a close residential area it might be good but even then when you have your workers being snowed on, wind blow.for hours. Not a few minutes with a break (snow shovelers) you will NOT keep them no matter how much you pay them. Not only that, while on it and getting wet and cold as in his previous video they will have to constantly take.breaks so they dont get frost.bite.

It’s amazing to see what work goes into dealing with the snow. I’m a Florida guy, lived here my whole life and only experienced snow while visiting New York so it’s fairly foreign to me haha. Winter over here is just a break from having a heat stroke the second you walk outside and less mowing. Keep up the hard work! I love watching you guys every day

Nice work! Those types of storms can become nightmares real quick. I’m in Massachusetts and back in 2015 we got hammered for a 6 week period of back to back to back storms anywhere from 8” to 40”. We received over 10 ft of snow in 6 weeks. I had to restructure my contracts after that season LoL. By the end of that stretch a 10 inch storm literally seemed like a dusting of snow. We had snow banks still on the ground into July.

    • @rebelcitysports1outlook713
      @rebelcitysports1outlook713 3 ปีที่แล้ว

yeah i remember in the late nineties think it was 98 weatherman called for a light dusting and we got dumped on by about 26" in 36 hours. they had to call in the national guard and were using wheel loaders to clear roads as the plow trucks weren't sufficient.

You two are like work horses during a snowstorm.❄❄⛄. Thank goodness it doesn't snow like that in my part of SC. But, I do remember in Feb 1973 when my father was stationed at Ft Benning, GA, we had 18" of snow. First snow in 30 years; town literally shut down & nearest chains for tires was Atlanta or the Sears catalog. Lol. I lived in Memphis, TN after college & saw plenty of snow. So, when I moved back to GA & they sent us hone from work for a few flakes; I laughed.

How? In wet and deep snow in struggles cause it dont have the weight. Your employees gets pelted by the elements while on it. Unless you want to drive an enclosed trailer, it.gets iced over while.on the trailer. Show the true benefits? Cost? 12k for the mower what another 2500 for the blower and 1500.for the plow? Want to know a game.changer? Pull type snow blower look it up.

You guys really work hard and I really appreciate you taking the time to video the snow removal. I love the snow and even love to shovel it. Enjoyed watching that plow you installed on the lawnmower. That worked great and saved so much time from how you use to shovel that walkway. Too bad the other truck was having all those issues. Here in the Portland, Oregon area we don't get much snow and when even a couple of inches come down it's pretty much gone in a day or so. Use to live on the east coast in Pennsylvania and got lots of snow there. Sounds silly to most people, but I do miss it. I always though it was fun, and shoveling was always what I called playing in the snow. When you were all done you could stand back and say, wow, got that all done.

We got 24" up in Chardon, my route normally takes about 7 hours, this time it took 28! I do residential with a Jeep and it did surprisingly well, with no problems stacking the piles up to 8 feet tall. You aren't kidding about the phone blowing up!
You might want to look into airbags for your new truck. I had a set of Airlift with the wireless setup on my Ram and it worked awesome for variable loads like salt.

Congrats on the finish yall are having to much fun. Love seeing company's grow. Grab a set of extra hydro hoses and fluid for each blade because after the wiper fails its usually hoses. Looks like the multiforce blade was cut long but it not a bad idea to get curb guard or make some with a steel cylinder. Currious on temp problem if I had to guess it would be airflow from the blade being to fight for to long while traveling or the alternator.

I won't do residential cause of having places to put snow without having it on the city right of way. Most people don't want piles in the front yard. I wish more people thought of snow when they built or added on to places. Do they make drop spreaders for your mowers? I got a old cub with both blower n blade option n I added a byers spreader on the rear. With chains and salt load it does well. Spreader holds about 150 lbs.

Looks like your road crews were on top of the storm. Over here in our area they didn't even get out till 6 am witch didn't help us . But we had the same thing happen to us. 2nd truck went down 2 days before the storm. The main plow truck broke down half way thru the storm. We ran snowblowers to finish our list We had the same thing with the phones ringing off the hook. We stopped answering them. Now I'm hearing we have another storm coming our way. Look into getting a fixed for your truck that way you know what's wrong with your trucks before they go to the shop. We have one and it's nice knowing what's wrong before it goes in.

We purchased a toro multiforce with 5' boss straight blade and 52" deck for grass back in nov. 2019. Every winter we have had issues with poor running. Kohler engine will start to run poorly and stall. First time it did it we were able to take it straight to dealer but they were unable to find anything wrong. Of course when dealer gets it, it runs fine. We just had another episode with it and took to dealer. They thought maybe corrosion on electronics and cleaned things up. First use after it being at dealer and issue was back. Very frustrating. Have you had any similar issues? Because of these issues i cannot recommend this machine. It is advertised as a winter machine. We have had no running issues when cutting grass.

The weather is certainly changing. I am in southern Maine on the coast and we got all rain Monday. We have no snow on the ground but are having the coldest temps in years.

Shawn and Savanna turf tires are good in snow on asphalt and cement when there’s no ice underneath if it’s a stone driveway or lot chains are a must

2 years ago I bought a used Craftsman to stage self-propelled snowblower. It was in good shape since then we hadn't had any snow over two inches all you needed was a broom to get rid of the snow. I also bought a plow for my Polaris ace 570 but again we hadn't had any snow for me to use it. Last Monday we got our first big snowfall over a foot. I went out the day before just make sure everything was okay with the snowblower and it ran beautiful. Then the snow came so I went out put some gas in it would not turn over tried for 2 hours. I removed the carb cleaned it put a new spark plug in check to see if I was getting fuel everything was fine but it would not start. So I figured I'll just use the plow on my Polaris started that up was running great made a couple passes and the thing was working fantastically. Then my winch broke and I couldn't raise the plow. So after going and getting a snowblower and buying a plow for my ATV I still had to use a shovel. I did get the snow blower working and my winch fixed the next day.

Another thing to add into my extra snow stuff. Windshield wipers along with Hydrolic hoses and oil. But do you still have the SUV? That could have pulled the trailer and at least have something else going on to plow.

I’ve done snow for municipalities for almost 10 years now and the worst one I remember was by the time you made two passes to the curb the snow was as tall as the mirrors on the F-350 i was on. Really was kinda fun.

Your not only working but doing the editing for you tube as well. how do you find the time I live in Queensland Australia no snow here But we do have the same problem with our grass we have to cut it ever two weeks but it only grows in summer. temperature here get up 90f (32c) in summer 90% humidity 20 drew point but though it get down to 60f (16 c ) in winter, The problem for us here is the UV so high it will give you sunburn right though your cloths

Had you gotten that other large contract, you would have been buried quite literally. It gets worrisome when you get pushed to the end of your resources- then you have a breakdown. Then if you get more equipment there may be no snow. You pays your money and you takes your chances. Maybe a big blade for the Bobcat as a backup.
Anyway, you have accomplished on thing for sure. I have seen all the snow that I need to for this year. Thank you.

You guys do great work. Oh and at least you guys had power. We got about 6 inches a week or so ago where I live in east Tennesse, Dolly Parton country to be exact , and we lost power at our house for four and a half days.

What does that hold about 3 tons of salt when you have it crowned up a bit? We hardly ever get snow here now. Use to get at least 3 or 4 good storms that were 12 to 36 inches now the most weve had in the last 5 years i think has been 6 inches one winter had nothing at all
