Was so excited to see this! I love the snow - and believe it or not, even though I'm a gal - I love these big trucks! Be careful out there and thanks for these videos! It's also refreshing to see a very, very, very hard worker do things the right way.
I plow up in northern Ontario . You do a nice job . Nice to see someone who doesn't get all in a rush and pound the heck out of the equipment or try to push with it like a D8 Cat . Makes a difference when you're the guy doing or paying for the repairs .
that storm we had here south of Detroit last week was probably the heaviest snow i've ever had the misfortune of having to plow with my truck. over 1" of rain mixed with 6" of snow. my sidewalk help was pretty much on suicide watch after the 5 hour mark. the 5 inch storm coming in a few hours is gonna be a piece of cake compared to last week
I recently found something that I should of know about for many years ago now. A heating system that does a few things. Its based on a system used in travel trailers and campers... but it is a timer with splitters on the heater hose and block heater so that it uses the diesel from the truck/equipment system on a timer so that it comes on say a half hour or what ever you want it to be and can be set easy to do just the days or hours of some different days.... you are using relays to turn on fans and the circulation heater on the engine as well. Say you know that your using a excavator the next day.... using your phone, you set it to go on a hour or time your figuring on being there to find the inside of the machine nice and warm, snow melted off of the glass or any place that the heat can reach. About the only thing that might be a problem is routing the exhaust system of this diesel heater to the outside and safe from the tracks on the machine. Really not a problem with most pieces of equipment as there are a good many places from where the heater hoses run that are out in the open. Heck, I will leave a link to where this guy did his and its a easy to see what his system looks like... even though winter is close to being done for, you might add some value to your equipment for the next year and I can say honestly.... warm melted snow off of the thing you have to crawl into is a nice start for any day or night. th-cam.com/video/5XPiaAD_zXU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=M.Bjoernstroem I hope that this is not a bore ya to tears or irritating suggestion.
Check out Mammoth Mountain Life to see snow. Unbelievable to see what they are getting in the west coast mountains. I will never complain again here in Cape Breton, well at least this week😜
I have a Boss all steel V plow not the stainless. I personally feel they are built better than the stainless ones . The stainless is bolted onto the frame not welded. I prefer the Red Steel version for that reason. It also sounds like your truck has wheel bearing issues when you were plowing the parking lot and the camera was on the ground ?
I will never venture into Your neck of the woods - too much cold and snow. Is your windshield cracked/ It would drive me crazy util I replaced it lol...Been up north before and don't care for it. Anything I need I can get here in the USA and that's fine for me. lol. Bless you though, stay warm and safe.
@@workplaytv Bless your heart brother, I just can't handle the cold, especially; they winters you guys get up north. even in the upper states connected to Canada, I stay away, lol... BRRRRRRRRRR. Love Your videos, great content, And love Canada and the people.

DITTO! my sentiments as well !!
Think I've mentioned wings before.
Save time, carry more snow.
Save time, carry more snow.
Save time, carry more....
That truck reverses so smooth it's like a hydrostat lawn mower !

Not me, you can keep the snow, I love the hot weather & sunshine & beaches
I freeze at 70 😂😂😂😂
I don't mind a lot of snow. As long as I have power and food and don't have to drive in it. I'm a wimp at 50
So many vehicles on the road ?
You know what they say, when you got to go you got to go.
Wait maybe that means something.
Nevermind. 😏

Walmart must be having a blue light special. And People can't miss it even if the roads are bad. Just hope they all make it home safe
It is a pretty drive. I dig the snow. Becareful out there.
Marie from Denver Colorado USA
Thank goodness you have equipment to deal with that!👍
Firestone has great tires!!! I just put All new ones on my car and then had a snow storm 😅 glad i did ! They handled great!

Great video, I'm in northern Ontario, We have it easy so far this winter but are expecting a big one to hit.
Great job bro.
Hi there,
It's nice to see the snow and great job!!

Looks like the snow out my way. Wet and heavy! Strange year weather wise.
Much snow. God job. Are you really professional
Nothing like here in Newfoundland, out in the middle of the North Atlantic! Check us out!
Looks like fun dude, giver the onions!
Your right, you hit a log ,could tear your front end off
Thank god it got fluffy and cold that night sorry I didn't see you go by me at Tim Hortons this morning or I would have waved lol
Haha all good and yeah if it was wet it wouldn’t have been good!
a million feet would drop here in alaska, people would still be expected to make it to work and school

They have had 47 feet this season. Yeah, feet.
350 sounded strong 💪!
Heck of a truck

There’s was a bunch of ice and snow on the brakes
Boss Poly and stainless are actually heavier and overbuilt compared to all steel. Easier to maintain in my opinion as well.
Were you able to get the plow repaired? Not sure when this video took place.
Yup
Their all going shopping.
Question for you regarding your fords. Do you use fuel conditioner or additives at all or just straight diesel ?
Not typically
Are you still plowing this coming year? Love these videos.
Unfortunately lol
Nice job pushing all that snow around.
Is it as fun as it looks ?
It can be yup! Lol
Like the videos any problems with cp4 sounds like front wheel bearings making noise
Nope. It was slush and ice jammed in the wheel
Is that my screen cracked or your windshield

Hahaha no problem. I love it here

What did you do to the front end that plow is heavy it doesn't even drop from the weight when you lift it.
Not a thing
Do you air down your tires when you are plowing????
I run 55 in back and 50 in front
@@workplaytv so you air up
What happened with the check engine light?
It’s on and off. It’s a weird one. Definitely have to post a video
I can't see the snow being pushed.
Don't know why everybody puts snow in the entrance of the driveway
Are you overheating
No
Remember you are pushing rain not snow
Pixy dust
I tried. The angle of the camera is too low can’t see the plow 😢
👍
I have a 2020 f150. How difficult is it to add on and take off a plough like that? Looking into getting one
Ok now plow with a ram. See the difference.
What will I see
all you're going to see is that they both push snow about the same
@@workplaytvThe body on the Ram fall off.
Its powder snow, not wet.
Noticed you're plowing with the Ford. Dodge trucks wouldn't handle it lol
Lol I’ll have to try
Why doesn’t the fire department have their own snow plough and do it themselves??
