-----------------------------------------------------------Chef AJ interviews Dr. Michael Klaper, M.D., an experienced clinician who practices preventative and nutrition-based medicine and teaches his patients that “health comes from healthy living.” Dr. Klaper believes strongly that proper nutrition and a balanced lifestyle are essential for health and, in many cases, make the difference between healing an illness or merely treating the symptoms. A gifted teacher, clinician, and author of successful books and videos on cholesterol-free nutrition, Dr. Klaper has contributed to the making of two PBS television programs, “Food for Thought,” and the award-winning, “Diet for a New America.”

This is soo good, I have lost a lot of weight just becoming a vegan. I thought becoming vegan was eating fruits and veggies...I started with green smoothies every day and every evening. I did not like salads at first..so I had to wait until my palet changed in order to eat more veggies. The Dean Ornish cook book helped me with a different way to cook. My mom lost 45 lbs after she moved in with me becuase we were 100% plant based to get her off meds and it worked. So those folks might be eating junk food or packaged products...we eat FRESH and FROZEN...I shop in the produce dept, the frozen food aisle and the bean aisle....and we eat raw nuts and seeds..simple but effective

Chef AJ, All your interviews are great and this was one of the best! So many difficult questions answered. I'm so glad he squeezed in the brief explanation about paleo at the end. I'd like to hear more about this. I knew I loved Dr. Klaper! Thank you.

Wow, this is one of the best explanations about GERD and what to do about it that I've heard. Dr. Klaper's explanations were so clear and easy to understand. Thanks so much!

Thank you was very informative. I'm wondering if this would also apply to diabetics though having only 2 meals between 12-6?
