Hey everyone, Queen has by far become my favorite band ever and it would be my dream to see them live while it’s still possible. Unfortunately i don’t have the money to be able to do it. Yay! They were so experimental. This is such a fun rock song. Obviously a May composition as it’s rock with lots of guitar! I love Queen! They even mention the opening band they were on tour with the 1st time they came to USA. The band is Mot the Hoople. Brian got quite ill & they had to get him home. Their variety was due to their combined genius and all four being incredible song writers.
This song is often the opening song at a Queen concert. It get the crowd excited as the beginning has so much anticipation in the music. Written by Brian this song is about the first tour Queen ever embarked upon where they were the supporting band for Mott The Hoople through Europe then on to the US. That was the only tour Queen ever did where they were not the headline band but they were really well received by the Hoople fans. Thanks for your time and reaction.

Love this song penned by Brian about Queen’s experiences opening for Mott The Hoople! Hence, the line “down in the city just Hoople and me” 😊 Love Wembley’s version, it’s like watching Freddie conquer the crowd, raising his half mic stand for all to “look up to the skies & see”‼️‼️💯
Thank you for the reaction and great to see you again! You might want to try "Tie Your Mother Down" or "It's Late" for some hidden gems that are really not played much but are absolute bangers. Spread Your Wings is a John song but also great.
I was a teenager in the 70s - the music was so good! Such variety, and the talent was real! Queen is my favorite. I need to listen to them everyday. They have something for every mood. All of these years later, it holds up. That's phenomenal. Love your reactions!

They didn't shy away from wearing white. Freddie, the trained visual artist suggested fans no matter how distant from the stage - wearing white, the entertainer they came to see would be easily visible. Tho' gotta admit that blue outfit Deaky often wears is coolly obvious. And John is COOL.
I did not see Barcelona or How Can I Go On in your playlist. Both are great songs that Freddie sings with Montserrat Caballe. Both are excellent.
