This is one of my favourite queen concerts along with live at wembley. I remember hearing about the crowd being told not to make noise and move around because they where filming really annoyed Freddie. Loved seeing Freddie playing crazy little thing called love on 12 string was cool when I saw this on vhs. Got to get this on blu ray for me now.

I saw this show on tv with my father, a musician, who usually was very critical towards fakes and poor performances. Even he was deeply impressed by Elvis' voice and performance that night. That says a lot.

in the throws of heart failure, colon fcked, gluchoma (nearly blind), lungs fckd, depression etc etc - absolutely done and should never have been up there - was on so much meds for so many illnesses (and did become addicted to the pain killers as a result) and because he never complained, was labelled a junkie. Was excessive with them and his food as well, but only things which made him happy at the end was eating and being up there singing - poor guy and has never been recognised for his amazing voice because of his good looks, charisma and then decline in his appearance. And ye his cant of a manager worked him to the bone and all his hangers on / spongers were happy to sit back and let him to suppliment their lifestyles

Hi Trevor! Stumbled upon your channel and love your stuff so far. There's not enough ways to say how incredible Freddie was and how incredible it was that he put this vocal together in the midst of everything. There's also a really good version from a tribute concert in 1992 where Elton John does it with the surviving members. I hope you found a way to get to a concert, if not hopefully they'll come back!

I was 18 years old the first time I saw Queen in 1975 and fell in love, saw them several more times and still in love 50 years later with the greatest band of all time. This is testament.

Last recorded show, the very last show was on June 26th 1977. E1vis passed away on August 16th 1977 at age 42. Many stars have gone and gone, but E1vis is the whole universe and the big bang.

2:15 Like you said, it's different from the '75 recording, at this point he knew he way dying of HIV/AIDS (or at least knew something was wrong)...and you can almost hear the significant amount of despair in his voice when he says, "Born at all" and "Carry on, Carry on." like he already knew his life was ending...

WHILE ELVIS WAS PERFORMING HE WAS LOOSING MILLIONS ON GAMBLING. ELVIS WAS HIS MEAL TICKET. ELVIS WAS GIVEN DRUGS BY HIS DOCTORS.UPPERS AND DOWNERS . IT WAS TOTALLY DISGUSTING THE WAY HE WAS TREATED. This is Elvis just week before his death. That he was able to do what he did here is incredible, considering his physical state. I hope that you aim to dig deeper into The King. His journey from 1954-1977 is a unique one. The United States of America has had 46 presidents, but only one King! And his kingdom is worldwide.
