You carry so much more speed on the light 125. Just need a ATeam Toole'd motor in it.
My favorite bike to ride in the woods was a 1986 YZ 125. Your speed was Insane, very enjoyable to watch, I especially liked the Bible verse!
Shane Watts and Kailub Russell have already proven what a light flickable 125 can do in the woods!

Hot Rods cranks are as good as OEM, an anecdotal experience doesn’t change that. The Wiesco cranks seem to have consistent issues among a lot of guys.

I've had good luck with hot rods crank. Took a HR stroker crank out of a 450 with 300 hours and it measures in spec.

I was running dunlop at 81 rear and mx 33 front. Honestly that is my favorite combo for just about anywhere

It’s got the top speed that you’re after and it’s just like riding a 2ST..
Look into a 2022 model, as they don’t have engine braking .

Did u even break in the hot rods crank? Their good cranks I’ve ran them in every bike I’ve own when I needed to bottom ends and never had issues and prob have 100-200 just on the bottom ends I could understand if u went with a wiesco crank those fail all the time but the hot rods are great after markets but ig yours failed rip
The bike was used so he didnt need to break the crank in... OEM cranks are always the best because everything else in that engine is built around the OEM crank. Hot rod cranks can cause more vibrations and movement which wears everything out faster

just got a yz 250 what do u think is better for vibration flexx bars or mako 360?
I run the scotts anti- vibration bar mounts with stablizer I think flex bars are goofy feeling in my opinion. As a 2 stroke off road racer myself.
I have the mako 360s on my 18 gas gas 300 and it has a lot less vibration then my rieju mr 300
