On the subject of original games: Cultist Simulator. It's so interesting. I've never played a game like it, before or since. A really interesting take on an exploratory game.
I still watch your older starcraft 2 videos. Even when i feel rusty their still helpful. Good luck with the Game Studio btw. Id help if you ever need someone to do 3d cutscenes in SFM. Someone would have to make the models for me to animate. Thats my primary content on my main.
I would love to be a part of a game developer team, especially YOUR team. But I feel like I'm too young and lacking in experience for either director spot. I'd have some chance if I could be part of a localization team but that doesn't seem to be the case. Much luck in this new project!
The more I think about it, the more I think the OG platformer is the most "original" game aka Donkey Kong. I think lots of other game are emulations of things in real life, sports, shooters, fighters, etc... and in fact it might be one of the only game styles that has something in life that emulates it: parkour.
@@tommyd2748 One of my faw strats with the white/flower like race was going invisible with the ultimate of one of the heroes and having a full army if seige tank like units. I would just ult, go in the middle of the enemy army, seige up, and nuke everything... IT WAS GLORIOUS!!! Ditnt get to play much cus of busy school life stuff at the time, and then i just hear that they scrapped the project one day. :(

I was actually kinda interested in this game from a thematic and visual standpoint but i got tired of that press the button when the needle is over the spot mechanic back in the 80s.... the fact that its still going strong today.... no thanks. Guess if I want some chill fishing Sea of Thieves is the better choice over this

I suppose games do need more quests that start from finding things out in the world, rather than being sent to look for them.
