Dalgus Maximus the requirement to unlock Luigi is to complete all 8 original characters’ target tests so I complete one of the during the run and do the other 7 later to unlock Luigi
+K & R Studios he is by far the fastest choice due to the high consistency at which he can complete the 1p mode. He is also my favorite character in the game but I choose him in this speedrun because he is so fast.

Actually speedrunners typically use the US version of this game, Japanese is more rare and less run. Check out speedrun.com/ssb64 for the leaderboards
