I just finished my tire set up for 8s all the mods and Esc Spektrum RC Avian 120 Amp Brushless Smart ESC and the and a Freewing 90mm 12-Blade Ducted Fan Unit and the Freewing 90mm 12-Blade EDF 8S Power System w/ 4075-1390kV Inrunner Motor I already have the heart performance Version.. But the 8S version I put together from the ground up I also have the Freewing 4075-1250kV Brushless Inrunner Motor - HET OEM I don’t know where I’m gonna put this I think I’m gonna keep the other F-15 the same
@@RCPlaneReviewer Oops buddy I have an F15 however it is the HP 6s version. I want to buy a new EDF 4068 kv1850 8s engine. My ESC is 130A, can it handle the new 8s motor? The product description of the 8s says that the working current is between 120 and 125A.
@@jasontidwell1206 I do miss that part in the vid. Noticed lately in alot of ppls vids they are missing that lipo test and placement chat at the end. Important stuff for us
all 90mm freewing jets should be sold as 8s pnp. 6s just dont have enough power for thge heavy large epo frames. I would like tto see freewing ditch 6s power for thir 90mm jets.

@@aj72279 I take it you'll loose telemetry with the avian since ur only using the 1 esc with 2 lipos? Was the 120A sufficient? Cheers

Not at all, but I will be removing a few slivers of foam from the battery bays so it's not so snug.
Did you use the 150 amp Hobbyking ESC from Motion RC? Was it easy to install? I’m at 8s and don’t want to go back. LOL
Yes i did use that 150 Amp esc!! 8s power is great 👍
full throttle low and close. Cant tell if this jet is any better when you full throttle from SO FAR AWAY.

I had 38% capacity left after my normal 3:30 flight, I noticed the airplane doesn't have work as hard at cruise speeds with this setup!🙂
