    First off I’m so glad someone finally gave what mm is in %, thank you for that so much. Second just wanted to ask if your flap and elevator mix was preferred or was it in the manual

    • @BDTennessee
      @BDTennessee  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Flap to elevator settings is what it needed to set attitude right with flaps.

    Great review! I picked one up used and beat up, been fixing it and getting it ready I’m glad you put the CG you are using I was too neutral at the 118mm from the book, wanted a bit of forward cg for Maiden. I did install the lighter Viper 90 fan in it along with esc to add that reverse thrust since my field is not the greatest. Hope to Maiden it soon.

    • @BDTennessee
      @BDTennessee  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Awesome LJ! Which motor does yours have? Also ,there is a 3D nozzle mod now that makes a noticeable difference in thrust!
      Did some testing recently with F15 FMS setup and reverse thrust. Definitely a upgrade!

    • @ljhobbylife
      @ljhobbylife 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BDTennessee That’s the same setup I have in it the FMS vipers 90mm with reverse thrust. Where do I find the files for Nozzles would be something to mess with! I was worried about CG until I seen your video at 125mm she CG’s better.

    Definitely a fan of separate channel for nosewheel steering. I use the same setup for all my trikes that I can. But I also add a mix that reduces the nosewheel rate when throttle is increased. Less sensitivity as speed increases during takeoffs.

      I use safe for take off and landing and I was fine with my first one from a few weeks ago, the Eflite twin 40mm F14, until something went wrong with it and it would crash after about a minute of flight time. No response at all even on safe, so now I'm more nervous for the next one lol but I have to keep trying. Today it was completely destroyed, I did good when it responded well, and I refuse to start with a Habu.

    Another great channel in the making! I hit the sub and the bell.
    One question regarding the battery choice. Do you think there is enough room for an SMC 8100mah weights 910g(120g heavier than your 5000)? Maybe 2 more inches back?

    • @BDTennessee
      @BDTennessee  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Looking at the dimensions the height will get you. Also you can really push back much further,especially to offset 120grams more.
      Side note: i wouldnt run that heavy of a battery...
