Do you takeoff with tail wind?
Yeah they are a icon jet to have , they are oversized in Pounds , the airframe is no way aroundthe drag it grabs , the only thing wakes it ut is the 8s or 12s but yet it only makesit heavier , But i just ordered the ARF . Im thinking about doing a mod the FMS A-10v2 70mm Twin in it to keep it at the single 6s i should get more thrust from it on the crazy side . Lol hellie mod to try .

Great video guys!! Always loved the F-15 and mine is on the bench for an upgrade as well! Will be trying 7s on the FMS fan since it worked so well in the F-22. Also guys, be sure to check timing on your esc. If its the stock fw their default is medium timing which sucks down the amps. Change to low for better flight times and about 10amps less draw.
Great vid as always fellas! That Freewing F-15 is such pretty plane but I've heard so many mix reviews about it. Its a shame really could have be a top tier plane if it were just a bit lighter huh?

Jeff , Try popping the speed brake , works well , I use takeoff flap set on landing also , not tried full flap on landing as of yet .

I have one , has a high wing loading , could use an upgrade to the internals , an maybe an beater fan unit , other than that , flys well !!

Jeff & Bobby , Get that on a hard surface an you will see maybe 150' takeoff roll distance at Max !! , looks as the run in the grass is longer than that in the vid , off the grass ..
Might rotate better now the grass is gone

I've had the phantom and the f-18 I've dumped three different power systems into it. high performance in runners and it hadn't change a thing. I'm back on stock 1750 9 blade fan is actually faster than the powerful in runner. Land without flaps it won't dump at the last second

We still need to see the speed test on the Arrows F-15 :) or race them against each other. I thought the Arrows actually sounded better, and looked faster with those twin 64s.
