Hello Marcin, after I tried to do a hard reset using your method to get into the service menu, my printer Photosmart 6510 has turned off and just connect the power cord to the power lamp lights for a few seconds after you off, how can I still get into the service menu? you have any suggestions?
I have a hp photosmart 5510, currently having a carriage jam issue. The printer makes a horrible noise, the carriage is stuck at the right (I can only move it a couple of cm to the left). I tried to do a factory reset following these steps but the printer does not let me do it, since after making the noise the error message "Carriage Jam" displays. Please any suggestions?
Update: I opened the access door and tried to turn the white wheels on the right just beneath the carriage with a screwdriver. At some point I managed to overcome the stuck position so that I can move the carriage by hand all the way to the left and right. Then I turn on the printer and it sounds like normal start, however after a few seconds it gets stuck again, the horrible noise starts and the error message (carriage jam) displays again. Please any ideas?

Can you post a solution if your display doesn't respond to touch? I need to reset my HP 5510 but won't be able to go to the menu point. After an automated update the 5510 started to get issues. First the issue was that the cartridges weren't recognized. Than we bought the original HP ones. So the display removed that error but doesn't respond to touch. Can you please help?

Is there a way to access a clock on the 6510 to tell time and display the current date? Been trying to find either an app or a setting that does this.

Having been trying to access service menu factory reset for Photosmart 6510. He speaks too fast. Never saw the Support tab.
I don't have the set up cartridges... now what do I do? 20 bucks for whoever can help me by pass the set up cartridge screen
