I was definitely on Michonne’s side the entire time. I understand Rick, but he would’ve become another Okafor who started murdering innocent civilians in cold blood because of General Beale. Okafor couldn’t change things on his own, and Rick said himself that now he was on his own. He can’t change the CRM, but he can be there for his family.
This episode had you going so hard that burned over 500 calories. 😂😂😂 Their arguments this episode would’ve had me doing the same. So many different feels this episode. 9.8/10 for me. Best of the series so far and definitely in my top 5 favorite TWDU episodes.

He also stopped her from writing it when he approached her wanting to start a family. But I can't remember what season or episode. Also on Wikipedia under her name it states she was a lawyer before pre-apocalypses.
I can understand and I don't like the Hollywood trend of making men weak and all women as amazons either. HOWEVER, in this episode Rick is broken (not weak) dealing with trauma, grief and PTSD. Ms. Gurira researched PTSD and trauma to get the depiction of it right in this episode. Is it hard and painful to see Rick this way? Absolutely. He is broken. It happens to people in real life. Rick in his mind is pushing her away to protect himself from MORE grief and trauma. He is disconnected from his emotions and Michonne until Michonne keeps digging to find out the truth. THEN the Rick we remember, our hero, returns. His swagger is back and they are once again a team fighting in unison. Beautiful writing.
Yes, this is the most conversation ever between characters of TWD. And it should be between Rick and Michonne! I love it! Can't wait until Season 2!
