Time goes fast in the West compared to other Countries outside the West. The workload on marriages is unsustainable. His work, life and activities, her work, life and activities visiting in laws, holidays kids, praying, intimacy, cost of living, technology social media consumption... There is too much to do somethings got to give. There was hardly anything mentioned about the disaster of feminism, materialism and how men are being treated terribly by the system... This will result in tons more unmarried women, more haram and less children being born. Wake Up!

Good interview but i disagree with what she said about the 6ft plus debate. A lot of women definitely prefer taller men and look down on short men. That doesnt mean there arent short men that get married but shes being disingenuous when she says it a myth
Short man right here. I've been rejected/not even considered purely based on height. As hard as that is to accept and swallow i do, as ultimately its their choice. But i get ticked off when women then complain and get bitter when they aren't considered or rejected for mens choices i.e. weight, preferring a virgin over a previously married etc. What gives women the right to make all their choices and strip men of theirs and then play the victim card, emotive language such as our beautiful sisters are left to the side, who will marry them. Yet with their choices the handsome, caring brothers arent left to the side? The question doesnt come up on who will marry them? What i understood from this podcast is woman are forced to be independent when they dont really want too,and men are forced to hold everything in then burn out. Really and truly, if you choose marriage. You have to look at... What is my role as a husband? What is my role as a wife? Can I do my role? If not, I shouldn't marry. You know how you get employed in a job and you have a role... Exact same with marriage.... Can't deliver? Don't marry. Expect too much? Don't marry. It will be your demise and your partner's Denise and your kids demise. You know how you wake up in the morning, you don't feel like going to work, come rain or shine you still go to work... Same thing in marriage, do your role or leave the marriage and just do your nafs.
I believe marriage is not just a role or a job but more about responsibilities that both partners should fulfill to the best of their abilities. Each person has their own set of responsibilities, and these should be fulfilled with sincerity and for the sake of Allah. Overthinking about life after marriage can be counterproductive since many lessons come from the experience itself. As long as both partners feel ready to take on responsibilities and strive to fulfill them, it’s a good foundation for a successful marriage.
Of course. There is not question about it. If that did actually happen in reality there will be lesser and unnecessary problems. Problems will never go away but the problems that are petty and causing many avoidable divorces.

Nobodies marriage is perfect, you also cannot perfect it. Its upon every individual , their amount of Islamic knowledge they have, islamic awareness and consciousness, their perspective, their upbringing, their morals and values , their priorities, their patience and tolerance level, their will and ability to work together and sometime singular effort in order to make the marriage last, work and succeed.. and it all falls under 'life is a test' . Whether you stay single or get married either way you will have difficulties and no one can run away from it, Whether you can conceive or not conceive, you are able or disabled, we all are going to have struggles its practically normal , part and parcel of life. Islamically it really depends upon your faith level, how strong you are connected to Allah ? the stronger it is then you can even stand alone and can tackle the world without anyones help, the weaker level faith are more dependent upon people and pleasing people etc and thats where they fall short and fall into depression, issues , broken marriages etc etc, Work on building your islamic knowledge, your faith and connection with Allah if you want to be content and have a successful life. Insha'Allah Someone with islamic knowledge will value his wife and her husband in laws etc no matter how they are or how they get treated, people with strong faith and Islamic knowledge will know how to handle with respect, patience and strength and will receive Allahs support , guidance and respect, no matter what people say or throw at her/him.
