Right? I’ve played the MK: Deception Konquest mode countless times and I STILL don’t get bored of it. But the Invasion mode got boring in the like the first realms
World Tour developed the cast of SF so much, that they all feel like real characters like a lot of the MK cast. It honestly puts Tekken to utter shame at this point with how one note most of its characters are.
Yes SF6 World Tour is best single player mode in a fighting since MK Deception, It was a breath of fresh air. Don't know how Capcom are going to top themselves with their next game.
I know how. Bigger maps, and even bigger chances to have more classic fighters as mentors. Having a style system that combines attack inputs from 2 different styles would be amazing. (Ex: Ryu's light, medium, and heavy punch's with Guile's light, medium, and heavy kicks. Sorry if my comment didn't make any sense at first. LoL)
I'd say deception comes close or is even on par with world tour, it's literally the same thing with different graphics, open world, side quest, you get masters, world tour though has full character creation, while deception has full dub. World tour is basically street fighter deception.

Invasions is ass cause they should have let you run around like MK11 Krypt hell throw in a lil MK Armageddon fighting of some mooks, have the game switch to traditional 1v1 when you run into a strong enemy Everyone is mentioning MK Deception Konquest besides that I thought Tobal and Ergheiz had a cool Quest mode Tekken should've had a Tekken Force Mode

Tekken Training mode is the best single player mode.. endless things to study and optimize.. tekken 3 force mode, survival and the endings on arcade when the creators still had passion I guess, we’re cool

Konquest by far my favorite invasion mode is so lackluster man I wish we had a opportunity to create our own character and move set Explore the world of mortal kombat with or without a friend Just imagine what MK1 could have been with the single player mode

i would love if mortal kombat had a similar mode. to me, mortal kombat has the most immersive universe and atmosphere compared to any other fighting game
Sadly MK1 was rushed since WB was considering selling their games division off. It was going to be IJ3 then maybe the real MK12 couldve competed with SF6
MK had a missed opportunity i personally thought they were going to bring back a konquest mode like deceptions or if not that then a mode like Shaolin monk which is one of the best co-op games they could have gone with one or both these options and make it multiplayer
Honestly I prefer to keep my action adventure games separate from my fighting games only because it gets tedious rather quickly. Although Akuma returns looking fearsome than ever I hate the botched facial surgery they did to his face with choppy ass hair. Looked like garbage with the transition between SF5 to SF6. At least there´s always the classic costume.
Konquest is significantly better. World Tour is nice and does some good stuff like using moves in the world. But there’s only what? 2 maps? And it’s so uninteresting. A boring city. The Street Fighter world is just very boring. There’s nothing of substance there imo. Everyone you run into is just some dude. Oh wait maybe someone has a box on their head. Lame. MK’s world has ninjas, monks, pedestrians, shadow priests, Tarkatans, oni, etc. The story for World Tour is also very very bad. The character creation is cool and all but I don’t care about some random. But the characters are boring too! Like I said before, Street Fighter characters are more like caricatures than actual characters. I don’t care about these people. Who is that random that gets a box on his head? Who is JP? Why is everyone just standing around doing nothing? Make me care about Ryu. I don’t care about him texting. Get busy! NRS fumbled horribly. They could’ve made a far more in depth Konquest mode but nope. They did the bare minimum as they always do and the closest we have to a beloved and constantly requested MK mode is in Street Fighter and it’s boring but they’re allowed to be because no one else is doing it! I hate NRS. And again this is all my opinion. No Street Fighter fan get offended by this. I think SF6 blows M1K out of the water. But I do believe SF just doesn’t have an interesting world or characters
So by that logic If SF6 had every Character's (masters) own Country's maps aka more maps it would be better than Deception's konquest? You're also talking about how you only fight people with boxes on their heads? You can fight other people other than the mad gear gang. You clearly didn't play through World tour mode. But hey at least you can fight people unlike in MK Deception where you can only punch people in the overworld so you don't even fight randoms. So yeah the only thing Deception's Konquest have over SF6 World tour is it has more maps.

Honestly Soul Calibur 6 in a weird way has better single player content than Tekken 8. Though Soul Calibur 3's single player is so good imo.
