Two of my most cherished cards a my Double signed Beta Sol Ring signed by both Tedin and Garfield, and the other is a Hellfire from Legends that was signed by all of my best friends that played magic at the time and we dated the back of the card when we all signed it which was August 25th 2001.
My 10 most cherished cards are my complete set of NM Alpha Dual Lands (including the Beta Volcanic). Got these Rocking in my 5-color Jodah, Archmage Eternal Commander Deck, which is my most blinged-out Commander deck (Beta Sol Ring, etc.). My next most cherished card is a 4th Edition Japanese Foreign Black Border Swords to Plowshares, which I pulled in a Sealed Deck event at Pro Tour #2 (Queen Mary, Long Beach, CA 1996). I immediately got the card signed by the first 2 World Champions (Zak Dolan & Alexander Blumke), the first U.S. Champion (Bo Bell), the winner of the first ever Pro Tour (Michael Loconto) and the members of the first ever Professional M:TG Team (Pacific Coast Legends: Henry Stern, Mark Justice, etc.), the most famous deck creator of all time: Brian Weissman, creator of "The Deck", which pretty much invented the concept "Card Advantage". Later on, I also got that same Swords to Plowshares signed by the GOAT, Jon Finkel, as well as a couple other super-major M:TG luminaries. So, ya, that card is my #11 most cherished card, after my 10 NM Alpha Duals.
@@BenBatemanMTG Yup. It sure is! Best part was the experience of every single signature. Still wondering why I didn't bother to get Richard Garfield to sign the card as well, since I came across him a couple of times at PT2 (1996). But, nevertheless, ya, it's my #11 card. However, I'm instead rocking my Alpha Swords to Plowshares in my main Commander deck. I can't blaspheme my Alpha Duals with an FBB STP....gotta rock the Alpha with the Alpha, all the way for the Style Points!
