Ah, so true. and the only part they could understand might not go so well. "I hope you don't think youare bringing me to your dwelling place by the same means as that zerg."
Imagine Raynor is driving, while Kerrigan is suffering from a concussion, and zeratul is on the back of the vehicle; dealing with amon's mind-controlled lackeys trying to jump on the vehicle, with a shotgun. That's what the Diamondback basically is.
@@matthewwilliams8727 I'd actually pay fucking money to see that happen. "Friend Raynor, this... shotgun device... seems awfully efficient at dispatching foes at close range, better than even our blades"
To be honest, the Pick up truck, as is part of the lyrics of this song, is just a cart/wagon with an engine attached to it. A lot of stuff we're commonly using today are just the same thing we've been using just upgraded kek.
The story this song is telling is hilarious. My boy is out there picking up a shotgun, a random ass Protoss buddy, salsa and chips, coming home to assumedly sweet heart in a pick up truck covered in Zerg bits after making them road kill. But he's gonna kick back a bit after taking off his boots and socks. Actually, after hearing it again, THIS SEEMS LIKE A NORMAL DAY FOR OUR MAD LAD. HE WAS OUT DOING CHORES
@@ChadVulpes How could you not like how Amon just came out of nowhere to be the main villain just so zerg weren't the real villains, how Raynor became a huge simp for Kerrigan despite it not making much sense, and how Kerrigan became a weird space Jesus prophesized savior ascending into godhood?
To ge honest, if you have a toss as a passenger that could lead to some awesome conversations. I really would like to go on a road trip with a Protoss. Maybe not a zealot but a dark templar or high templar would be cool. Even better a phoenix pilot.
I'm not even gonna pretend I understand this, not going to even try, it doesn't need to be understood. All I need to know is that I've got a zerg, I've got a shotgun, and I've got you. Sounds oddly romantic, in a frontier-world sorta way
+KafkaIs Chaznable Oh, absolutely! The Firefly influence is all over it, very easy to recognize; it's not quite as obvious as the Alien/Aliens franchise influence on the Zerg, but still, it's defintely there. To a far lesser degree there also appears to have been, IMO, a Predator influence on the Protoss, at least initially. I guess those who are complaining so much about this particular song (and all the rest of the "Western movie, Southern Rebel / Texan" motif/culture in both the Starcraft and Starcraft II Terrans) either aren't aware of, or aren't making, the Firefly connection? Or maybe they DO know, it's just that they never really dug Firefly? Nah, are you kidding, a gorram Starcraft player who doesn't love Firefly? Inconcieveable! ;-)
DrScaphandre , I do. Just a comparison, btw. Also, BW made Kerrigan into a total scumbag. She could have been that way, and a "duel of fates" would have seen her die, with Raynor losing his sanity in the end, but..............they went for the Kerraynor ship, and made it a trip to planet schmaltz. One of the reasons I was really miffed with HoTS. Cuz it completely ruined the events and impact of BW. IMO.
Well if it were cowboy esque it would kind of dilute the feeling of the swarm, each race gets its own theme, but what I thought was lacking in the HOTS was the amount and length of missions, I would have payed twice as much if it was twice as long.
One of the best pros of StarCraft franchise is that they use country, rock 'n roll and rock music. Seriously, this is only game I know, that there is this type of music. Normally people use techno, hip-hop, electro and other similar shit for sci-fi. And classic music (which is pretty good but come on! More rocking music!!!)
Ever since this song spun up on the Cantina jukebox, I am incapable of playing the SC2 campaign games without wearing a ten gallon hat and rattleskin boots.
I like the idea he repaired a Protoss probe in the back and it makes some cool stuff for the cowboy, a mini pylon and cannon on the truck. Some idiots have tried to steal the truck, but it has shields and the probe is very loyal. A pet Zergling for a dog?
@robercepp1987 There is no non-multiplayer version in North America. Certain other regions do have cheaper versions with various multiplayer subscription durations, but again, not in North America.
