Fmp was one of those anime that was on Netflix that I watched and when I say Netflix I mean the OLD Netflix. The one that had a lot of obscure weird shit on it and a lot of unknown anime
Whew boy. This one got me laughing, I won't lie. Seriously though, this was an interesting, review and nice way of how you went about the whole Hartman/Vic thing. Maybe I'll go over Fullmetal someday (which reminds me, I need to see Escaflowne). And yes, the 2000s were the days, and not just for anime (TMNT 2K3 BABY!). For me, it was more Digimon Tamers/Frontier and DBZ than mecha, though I did get into the older Gundam stuff like Char's Counterattack.
The Fullmetal trilogy never made sense to me. Things were pretty cool in the first film. Sargent Hartman was an asshole but he was damn hard not to enjoy. I skipped Panic when I heard they were going full weeb but I came back with the most recent entry in the trilogy about the kid with the metal arm and leg. I'll probably give Panic a watch. Still got no clue how any of these connect though.
That's caue you didn't see the hidden context clues. I don't blame you for not noticing, as it took a few viewings for me to get it as well, but long story short, they're connected in much the same way Drakengard(1 and 3), Nier Replicant, and Nier Automata do, between worlds, great distances, and wide spans of time. I'm sure you'll get it next time you watch them.
Seeing how many weapons he takes with him, Sousuke is basically the anime version of school shooter.
the light novels of Full Metal Panic are pretty good as well, and well worth the read.

A true man of culture I see

Do you know the name of the song that plays at 10:21?
I believe it is from the Durarara soundtrack. It's called Hohoemi no Kage. The one I used was the trap version of it. You can easily find it
@@KaiserShounen thanks
