    Is the T2 camera and led strip much better than the ones from G1 pro? I mean is it worth it to buy the T2 then buy separate light bars ? T2 + separate light bars will be around 210$ and the G1 pro is now 99.

    Went ahead and purchased. I'd love to see TV manufacturers change the EARC to allow output for wired devices. The Phillips Hue uses HDMI 2.0, which sucks coz I view content via my smart TV and PC at 4k 120hz. So this is the best option, coz the only way to use the Phillips is via HDMI 2.0, killing my 4k 120hz. They are very shortsighted. OBTW, using the HDMI passthrough horribly downgrades signal.
    To get the perfect exact color and timing for a lighting kit, we Samsung or LG need to create an extra EVARC channel that you can hook these directly to the TV set.

      @@nunchk9542 Whether it's HDMI 2.0 or 2.1, it doesn't change the fact that the HDMI Sync Box won't work for certain apps like Netflix because of DRM protection or whatever it's called.
      A camera-based lighting system looks to be superior to HDMI-based lighting systems.

    • @nunchk9542
      @nunchk9542 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PSYCHOV3N0M That is correct, unless you use Netflix on a PC browser, or PC app, and use Phillips Hue program on your PC. They can't block that. This is how I used my Hue System until I purchased this new system.
      I prefer the lights on this, even though I'm not a fan of the large camera.
      While this is the best current option. The exact match of an HDMI cord is vastly more accurate. But having 120hz is more important to me. And the brightness and full loop on this system is more appealing.

    I've been trying to ask Govee this but haven't been getting a clear answer. I have the T1 TV Lights. But it cannot read Blacks and Whites properly. All other colors are pretty fine, but when it comes to dark scenes or blacks, the lights don't turn off (I would expect them to being RGBIC), and when there are whites or even skin tones, the colors go bizarre, probably blue or something else. But there isn't a pure white. Is this the case with T2 or has there been an improvement?

      Better off calibrating thr screen to yellow, thrn adjust white balance. Find a yellow blank video on you tune, calibrate thd strip to the yellow onscreen. If you have white balance to far towards cool, yellow comes out green.
      As the strips cannot do pure white like lyra can, it's best to calibrate to the coloyr of yellow
