Love Stephanie Calverts vocals,(way better than Cathy Richardson fronting Jefferson Starship),but have thought for years now,that she looks like a young Grace Slick.
Back in the mid '90's, Stephanie used to come to the church I was in at the time. My wife and I were the leaders of the song leading group and my wife worked with Stephanie and a friend of hers named Amy. They were just around 16 at that time, and they were so cute because they would get up in front of the church and sing songs together very nervous, they would cling to each other and sing-too cute.
It was terrible how Stephnie was fired after serving 15 years with Starship. the circumstances were questionable as she also didn't want the Covid vaccine while they were traveling after the peak of the pandemic after so many shows were cancelled. I'm sure there were other reasons behind the scenes, but she was very upset on the way Mickey handled it. She'll be missed.
