Do you know what would cause a misfire with no codes? My fuel pump went out so the CLK sat for a minute until the pump came. Installed the pumps and its is misfiring with no check engine light. I also changed the spark plugs and wires.
did you click the spark plug wires boots in all the way? they can be a pain to actually click in, happened to me before. Describe the misfire though and when it's happening and I might have some more ideas
@@ANDERZENAMG I went over the Wires a few times but will try again when i get the new coil packs in. When I start the car it has a big puff of white smoke but goes away. RPMs go to about 1000 to 1100 upon start up when they drop to 800 the car starts to misfire like its cammed then it tries to settle down but when its almost back to normal it started to sound like its cammed again. when i tried to change gears into D,N,R it gets worse.
@@derrickmonares3865 it could be leaky valve stem seals causing oil to get on the plugs, the ecu can't compensate for it and causes misfiring. this happened to my C55 once out of nowhere, changed plugs and hasn't happened again
@@ANDERZENAMG My seals are definitely leaking I'm just scared to drop a valve when changing the seals so I haven't got around to it and the car has drove fine with no issues until the pump went out. Guess i need to just go for it now.
awesome video. very informative on the air intake tubes. what a fantastic collection of AMG cars
I really like this air intake setup! Happy to see the C55 getting love :D
So that was a tricky one 😅
Then it's good you have multiple car's👍🏼
So MSS to the rescue.
Like to see some ML55 content 😉🤘🏼
MSS to the rescue indeed! I need to do spark plugs and valve cover gaskets on it, video soon!
@@ANDERZENAMG Great 😃 looking forward to it 😉
