I get that feeling every time i drive my car for any distance. It usually does 25 miles round trip when I take it to work. But I recently enjoyed a Sunday morning run to Harbor Freight and it was glorious. Such a fun car for bombing around.
w203 is actually very heavy chassis so it sounds weird to make it lighter like that. You are just taking away comfort from you and not gaining any significant changes in power or steering. I like the idea of making a lightweight w203, but I would make it look like a rally car, completely stripped.
Awesome, I might start looking for ways to slim down my E500 a smidge. The muffler delete alone saved me almost 75lbs. Google claims 1635 kg / 3605 lbs for your factory weight btw.
@@ANDERZENAMG that sounds about right. Cause I think the factory number doesn't account for fuel. Also, unless you got a really light flywheel, there's only 10-15 lbs difference between a 722.6+tq conv and a 716 + clutch + pp + fw.

My 2003 E55 weighs 4100 lbs. Half tank of gas and nobody in it.
No air suspension and lighter wheels/tires included. She's a thick girl. Lol
engine bay looks clean 👌
@@vito6483 thank you!
