a friend has swapped his E46 330ci automatic to 6-gear manual and has also finished the wiring and installation. Nothing has been coded yet. The EWS has been bridged and we are currently at the point where we have filled the transmission oil and finally started the engine. We have not driven it yet. The engine started immediately without any problems on the first attempt. We turned the engine off again after about 5 minutes and wanted to drive off with the car later. But now the engine suddenly won't start. It rumbles, but it seems that the fuel pump is not pumping any fuel. You cannot hear the fuel pump when you turn on the ignition, it cannot be started via INPA or ISTA, the error log says something about "fuel pump control", unfortunately I can no longer remember exactly what it said and what error code it was. According to ISTA and INPA, EWS has no error messages, the engine rumbles too. Could it be because of the coding that the engine suddenly won't start? As far as I know, the engine should be able to start without coding and it worked on the first attempt. Do you have any idea what else could be causing this? I need to get the car ready to drive as quickly as possible. Thanks in advance for your help!
@@MoTz_50 as far as I'm aware, the trans should not cause the engine to no start. I would double check your EWS wiringband fuses. Almost sounds immobilized.
@@alexejklauser1629 you need to tell the ECM that it's a Manual car to get rid of the trans error warning light and retain Cruise Control. There's a how to linked on the description that I used. It's not required to be drivable if you don't care about Cruise Control or the warning lights.
U the man thanks bro!!!
How can you Code it?

And What exactly need to be coded?
