Being you were gonna use the broken old tip one for a knife, wouldnt it have been easier to cut the tip off and just slide it out smoothly?
Probably would have been easier, but Hindsight is always 20/20. I didn't make it into a knife, until a few day later, so I wasn't thinking knife, I was thinking what if I could save it, or repair the tip.

I have seen them in lockpicks.com or
USH hardware.com but try Google searching "replace tip for a (sc20) lishi pick" that way you can shop pricing, and get the best price. But put in the lishi you're looking for in the search, I did the sc20, but you might need the kw5, anywho, I believe I seen them in lockpickmall.com too, but it will all depend on what lishi you have. I believe they go for $10 plus shipping

This is a great tutorial. I'm sure there are plenty of broken Lishi's out there that could be brought back into service this way. Thanks for this video. Where did you get the replacement tip from. Also the SC 20 is it really worth getting, I think it is the profile that fits various SC keyways, is this the case, cheers mate

So im new to this and just bought a couple of these picks and notized my new SC20 has a lil hook on the end of the pick that my others don't have is that normal?
It's hard to give a answer without seeing what you're referring too exactly. Every Lishi is a little different, but I would guess it's probably fine.

Hey I have the SC20 is that replacement for sc4 ?
Sorry for the late reply, but yes if I remember correctly it is a sc4 replacement.
I bent the part that goes into the keyway. Has anybody replaced that?

Hard to see shit like that when recording.. he’ll I looked for tweezers for 3 minutes infront of my face, or picked on already picked locks in vice, or or when ya video a very hard lock and ya realize on playback it’s not in focus😳🫣🙄🤣. Man does t happen to us all! Shit what’s worse is when I’m in a hurry and post something that editor has fecked up. Like my exit music playing through my entro for example🫣. Or better yet when nothing at all can be heard or seen🤷🏼🤣. Great stuff man! Makes me want it all the more! Hippy pickn homie
