Best electric pumpkin saw pick 🎃 (IMO of course)
มุมมอง 1613 หลายเดือนก่อน
Just my opinion, but if you ever try making one. I think this the best, & most reliable way to make one of these. "electric pumpkin saw picks" I have tried it both ways, and this one opens a lot more locks. I have about $20 bucks put into this, $9 for the pick gun (that was cannibalized) and $10 for the pumpkin saw itself. $20 spent, and in return hours, upon hours of fun I have had with it, is...

Snap-gun tips, and tricks to help you improve

This video should show some things you may have not thought about when using a snap-gun. Watch this video, and get some practice in, you will improve. I really enjoy these snap-guns. I have made them out of bike spokes, and coat hangers. Both work well. Wow!! Reminds me! For the longest time I had an idea of hiding picks into sunglasses. I just saw that someone is actually making some!!! They look pretty cool!!! 😎
That sounds pretty cool. I always enjoy see where people like to hide their lock picks.
@@RookKnight ya!! And it's so crazy I've never seen this pick company before. They also have a set that has carbon fiber handles, that look really cool!! Check them out!! Lockpick pros is the name of them. Have you heard of them?
I don't think I've heard of them before, but I will keep an eye out 👍
Awesome! Appreciate you sharing. I need to practice this. Can I ask, where you purchased your vice and do you recommend it? Thank you.
Thank you for the kind words. The vice works well, but it's a bit of a Frankenstein, in that I made it from spare parts. I used camera stand & clamp parts, and a magnet fishing, magnet. Under my mat is a metal plate, that it grabs on too. Hope that makes sense. Thank you again for commenting. Hope you have a good rest of your week.
Oh my god. I have one of your toys. The tan loincloth-wearing guy with the horns. I don't know its name. Do you?
Lol that's awesome! They're Mattel MUSCLE Men from the 80's 👍🏻
@@RookKnight Thanks!
Any, pick tip? I am struggling to find the tip and when I try to buy it online, they all have an allocated lishi.
There's a particular tip that goes with the one you have, whether it be a kw1, sc1, am5, sc20 etc. You should be able to find one that is recommended for it. I've seen them everywhere from eBay to AliExpress.
@RookKnight thanks for the advice. I forgot to describe the lishi I currently have. LW5 and LW4
I did some looking, and I come across one for the LW5 (surprisingly it says it fits a few models, now that's news to me) but here's the link if you want to take a look. cyborg.ksecsolutions.com/product/lishi-pick-tip-replacement-all-models/?srsltid=AfmBOoouVW-q9LVb5VMwmiRyeiTlMpqHep4POnTnZ-b-qFKvSq23Ic6b
Have you seen if this will work with the latest generation of kwikset smartkey locks?
I haven't had a chance to try it on anything but the gen 3. I am just as curious though.
Good idea. I might have to try this on my Covert Companion, with the tensioner expansion on it. one of my complaints (albeit a minor one) is finding the goldilocks tension on the screws, this would make it much easier. I'll double check the mesurments on the screws though tomorrow, since its been awhile since I've had it completely apart. Thank you for the idea!
Thanks for checking it out. Hope it works well for you too. Have a good one !!
Have you ever picked a best lock core? I have. I made a special core turning wrench for best locks 😊 to fit inside the change key core on the best pad lock 😊
I have. That wrench sounds awesome. I enjoy making my own tools as well. Happy new year 🎊

Great job my friend, you always find a way to get the task done!
Thank you my friend. I always appreciate hearing from you. If I don't get another chance to tell you hope you have a Merry Christmas 👋🏻😁
Great job in both picking and making that pick👍🦊
Thanks Jack 🦊!! Hope you have a good weekend my friend 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
All they have to do now is incorporate pin-within-pin technology, add anti-drill plates, discs, or pins, and they'll have a pretty decent high security lock.
That be great 👍🏻 I do enjoy those pin-in- pin. Have a good weekend!
Wow! How did you get that wicked bend on the tip of our homemade pick?
When you have time. I did a little video on how I did it. th-cam.com/video/rKTwV6Sivzo/w-d-xo.html 👍🏻
Pick works a treat Rook Knight. I have one of those and they are hit and miss when picking and tensioning them is a bind 😆. It is crying out to be foil impressioned 😉
Roy I was thinking about doing that, it came with a few keys. I was thinking of trying your homemade one you did. Have a good weekend brother 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Are there any American locks in the 1100 series that can't be opened with a bypass driver? Like I saw 1105, 06, 07 and from what I could tell/thought the different number at the end was just referring to the length of the shackle
I'm not exactly sure, I think you're right about it being just shackle sizes (but don't quote me) although now a days if you by a new American 1100, they should have bypass wafers inside that will stop this simple bypass attack, or you can purchase the wafers, and add them to older 1100s
@RookKnight Aaahhhh... Yeah mine is brand new.. damn I bought it just to practice my bypass driver LOL oh well at least I know I'm not completely hopeless 😆🙏 thank you so much for your time
@@ricksanchez3204 if you want, you could remove the wafer. That way you could give bypassing a go.
So you just happen to have a hair clip on you 🤔 good job too cos it looks like you're in a fix..... ... NOT FOR LONG SHIM GUY!!!!! AwesomE!!!!!!!¡!
I actually stole it from my niece lol. I seen her playing with it, and it looked like it might make for a good shim. So I borrowed it, kinda surprised on how well it worked to be honest. I didn't have to modify it or anything. 😁😁😁👍🏻
Unfortunately, I don't have any place on my head to wear a hairclip.
LMAO, same here brother. We need a men's version, maybe we can call it the pocket clip or something 😄
@RookKnight It's called a money clip.

Gorgeous lock from Chris and nice picking.👍🦊
Thanks Jack my friend, hope you have a great weekend 👍🏻
Now, you need to show us how you pick a Yale Standard 4-Lever padlock. Too much pickin will give the levers a kickin, so be careful not scratch.
I will keep an eye out for one😁👍🏻 Have a great weekend brother!
@RookKnight If you do get one, make sure the two pins on the lock body are factory and haven't been hacked. It's very common on Ebay to find hacked locks. The sellers often act numb or dumb about it.
Awesome information thank you my friend 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Nice!
Thank you!! Have a good weekend 👍🏻
Those old brass Yales are absolutely gorgeous. A while ago Terry 🐝 Pickin sent me one to make into a Challenge Lock. I called it Royal Jelly. awesome man!!
Thanks brother 😁👍🏻
Beautiful lock
Totally agree my friend Have a good weekend 👍🏻
Be nice to see how you made it. I like making my own tools. This one has been a challenge.
I enjoy making my own as well. I alway figured why buy, if you can make it. I did want to show how I made this, unfortunately I always get distracted with something else. I will try to do a video, when I get some free time.
So i made one of these but i cant get it to work properly any tips on using it?
Unfortunately They don't work on every lock. Sometimes a lock has a combination of security pins in the Bible, and long key pins. Making Snap guns, bump keys, wraking, and even electric pick guns ineffective. But that's were single pin picking coming in handy. Snap guns are good for a first try, and then move to the next tool. Hope that helps 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Nice one Rook mate 👍 Lovely set of picks and great review 👍 🍻 🍻 CHEERS 🍻 🍻
