Grundfos SCALA1 3-45 plumbing change over from a Grundfos MQ 3-45

Swapping a Grundfos MQ 3-35 or 3-45 with a SCALA1 3-45 is simple. Simply use a 1" Stainless Steel Flex Hose on the pump's discharge, and bend the house to match up to your existing plumbing. 1" SS Flex Hoses are available on our site in 12", 18", 24", 36" and 48" lengths.

Hi. How’s the scala reliability compared to DAB esybox mini 3?

The SCALA1 3-45 is relatively new. It's only been out for less than a year, so it's a little early to say. Plus, it's a single speed pump, where the DAB ESYBOX MINI 3 is a variable speed pump. So, they are different in the way they operate. The MINI 3 is more comparable to the SCALA 2 (also a variable speed), and we recommend the MINI 3 over the SCALA 2.
