There are 3 main Malaysian foods,
- "Malay" Malaysian,
- "Indian" Malaysian,
- "Chinese" Malaysian.
What I saw from this video is towards Malay and Indian Malaysian food. You guys have not tried Chinese Malaysian food unfortunately which is different from what you guys had from normal Chinese cuisines elsewhere.
Thanks for the insights 😊and Thank you for watching
We will try the others next time
This is just where the food tour took us
In my opinion the best food can be found in thailand and malaysia
Agreed !!!!!
Food in kpg Bharu is cheaper than Jalan Alor
Jalan Alor has big varieties of food and better atmosphere, this is why many people go there
True
@@piaklim3420exactly.
Food in Kampung bharu is dirty and not tasty. Full of flies. Hassle for simple parking.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO MALAYSIA...
Thank you
welcome to Malaysia
Thank you very much and thanks for watching
Wanjo is the best Nasi lemak in town or maybe Malaysia...if you want to have the best satay, you must try satay kajang..and satay kajang hj samuri is the best satay in Malaysia..
The flavours and tastes of some of those noodles and spices are the oldest in Southeast Asia. For instance Pad Thai apparently originated when some Thai Chinese visited Penang and experienced Char Kuey Teow for the first time. They liked it so much they went back and localized it and Pad Thai was born. Btw, Malaysia is the world's biggest consumer of Milo drink, even though it originated and is still sold in Australia.
Wow so interesting. The flavours of Asian food is just the BEST!!! When we are back home in South Africa we miss it so much.
At least we have Milo here 😂😂 so we have been enjoying that.
You make my mouth watering with saliva 🤤😋
Hehe thanks for watching
In hot weather you will want ice cold drinks but ice melts fast ...the reason why many drinks are prepared extra sweet. It would be balanced out once the ice melts
Great tour guide who explained all type of local produce and foods to tourists

Woww.. Nice content and info about Malaysia..!!!
Glad you liked it! More to come 😊
Thank you for watching
I'm a local and I've eaten at wanjo to see what's the hype. And in my most humble opinion, it is not the best nasi lemak. Tanglin nasi lemak would be my number 1 choice. But I'm glad you enjoyed the food tour.
Yeah
I’m guessing it’s a bit touristy
But we loved it
Thank you for watching
I think Wanjo is decent and its food generally suits foreigners' taste. I believe that's the strength of Wanjo. We locals might have other preferences but Wanjo is a safe bet to bring tourists or foreign friends, Plus it's spacious and also in Kampung Baru
Happy😄
u making the no 1 best roti in the world
😂😂😂😂thank you !
Thank you for watching
Malaysia have much much more variety of foods to offer. What your food guide have shared are just mainly from the Indian and Malay food varieties. There're also the Chinese varieties such as Wan Tan(Pork & Dumpling) Noodles, Bak Kut Teh( Chinese Herbal Pork Stew), Char Kueh Teow (Stir fried flat rice noodles), Hokkien Mee(Dark Soy Sauce and Pork fried Noodles) etc. Go try them out for yourselves!😂😊👌
Yes we know this isn’t everything and there is LOTS more to try
Thank you for watching
I was in Langkawi for ten days, so disappointed couldn’t get Chinese food around where i stayed.
@piaklim3420 You can get them in specific areas in Pantai Cenang and especially in Kuah Town. You should have asked around. The people there will be more than happy to give you directions. Cheers!
@@nickloongthank you for your suggestion 👍
Function cucumber in nasi lemak is to cut spicy sambal when u eat it

There's many grades of Durian available..the one you tried not so..... should try the higher grade like musang king.... surely slow you will like it.... the rambly burger you have is not so.... there are some outlets can make the most juicy one and can find at jalan alor bukit bintang....
We shall have to give it another go
Not sure if Lauren will be up to it 😂😂
There a story about guy just love to eat roti canai..he planing to make roti canai and spining roti canai with his own hand.. Then he had a idea traning to spin roti canai by using his towel ..and it work.. Anyway the story came from a cinema that i watch years ago.. 😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤
It seen like you guy eating nasi lemak and chiken rendang.. There a big controvesi about chiken rendang by master chef uk..program..you guy watch in you tube (rendang ayam crispy)glad you guy try rendang ayan the most history dish..
The oldest village or town is in ruins. It is called bujang valley. Older than angkor wat, borobudur or prambanan. Yes, Hindu.
Thanks for letting us know
I don't know if I missed it but... where did you book the food tour with him? He's really good at introducing Malaysian cuisine!!!😂
It was really great - you can book it here :) achefstour.com/tour/kuala-lumpur-food-tour
They saids you are not in malaysia if you guy didn eat Ramly berger..like a finger print i tought.. 😊😊😊😊
Durian has what's is called smell from hell and taste from heaven!Malaysia is THE Foodie Capital of the world!so one must 'get' durian taste to become a real foodiel❤❤❤
I will have to try again then 🤣😅
Where do you book the guide
A chefs tour
Must squeeze lemon juice into me goreng
Thanks for letting us know
And thanks for watching
Our Sate is different than Indonesian satel
We ate a lot of it !😂
🤣🤣MAT SALLEH BUAT ROTI CANAI,,
Thank you for watching 😅
if you guys are learning to eat durian for the first time, i suggest that you guys first try the bubur durian (durian porridge) to get used to the durian taste first.. i reckon that the taste of bubur durian would better fit your taste bud if you guys are new to durian.. bubur durian is often eaten with glutinuous rice (pulut)
Bubur = Porridge...
Sup = Soup... 😊
Thanks for the tips!
What is goin on with the world? Nobody came to Malaysia for the food in the 90's. We had a lot of tourist went for the beaches, rainforest, they stayed away from the durian..
But today the beaches were crowded with locals, and the restaurant are full of tourist...what is goin on?
It’s called globalisation😊
You should go to Village Park for the best nasi lemak n Satay Kajang Haji Samuri. Satay Padang is lndonesian not that yummy...
Thank you for your suggestions
u flinched when touching a fruit 🥲🥲🥲
😂😂
Wanjo is just so overrated to me as a local to be honest. The best nasi lemak i would highly recommend you to taste would be village park’s or tanglin’s.
We will try that next time
thanks for watching
Trying to flip roti canai?
Yes in our food tour video 😂
I wonder how much is the tour guide price
49USD Per person
49USD Per person
😲
49USD per person is expensive for giving nasi lemak and roti canal tour , I don’t pay, maybe half of that price
we call chnese and indian here as pedatang
Thanks for letting us know and Thank you for watching
What not try real authentic laksa from a Chinese stall?
We were just following the food tour that’s why
You chinese are so petty..I've watched tourist eating nasi lemak at Chinese shop/restaurant but we Malay did not make petty comments like u, like asking them tourist to eat authentic nasi lemak at Malay restaurant
@@AdventuresWithGingerSpice it is a good tour, the tour guide really shows n bring you to local hotspot, not some tourist spot 👌
I can see that the food guide only brought them for a local Malay and Indian food tour. Good to try some Chinese food stalls too.
😂😂😂😂Its ok..learn something new..
We had fun 😂
wan jooo overrated,me as malaysian go for the first and the last time..
We loved it
