Under-utilized trout tactic: The Pause

Is the pause under-utilized on trout? On this occasion I paused only to use the paddle. So an incidental catch. Check the trout boiling the lure in the background.

Hey Sandy, lure used was a floating Bullet Lure 5cm Minnow

@@Michael_Lane_Fishing Nice! I have caught plenty of trout on the suspending/slow sinking version of the bullet 5 o minnow in "Pink Tiger" colour on the troll so I would imagine the floating version would work.
