Great video, thank you. Also I have noticed when the woodland mills are sent out, the idle is always just a tad bit too fast. If you lower it perhaps a half turn you will find that your slip clutch will stop trying to engage at idle. This will prolong the life of your clutch.
Have you tried using a wedge like you use on a window or door? Just slide it under the log to the hight you wants. You could mark the wedge so you can get the same height every time

Yes I’ve noticed sometimes when the sawmill is just idling the blade is turning. Thanks for the tip!
Could do video on your saw shed, size width, height
Good little channel my friend, just subbed 👍
Thanks for the sub!
Make a few videos in the woods cutting wood and logs the winter… thanks for the videos

Yes i actually used a piece of the wedged grey siding underneath before, it just takes a lot more time removing the wedge after each cut
Yea. What is the reason for the taper in the first place ? Only thing I can come up with is you’d get piece or two more out of a can’t. Hmmmm
Cant
Why are you not getting the bladeguide closer to the log?
This mill doesn’t have a blade guide
❤ what species of wood is that
That was a black spruce, thanks for watching!
Confused... No taper?!
Just straight boards, thanks for watching!
I made a video using a homemade jig to make real lap siding.
