☺️💡To all guys: Remember Commercial donut brands uses a pre-prepared instant donut flour (they just need put water and in 5 mins the dough is ready🤷🏻♀️), so let me tell you Aimee's recipe is a wonderful and amazing traditional donut could really be sold same or at higher price than the comercial ones. It worths the effort you put doing it, cause the value of this is that you did it yourself and the satisfaction is priceless ❤️
These really are close to the Krispy Kreme style doughnut, though less sweet and a more pleasant “chew” than “melt” in the mouth. Very good, not too sweet, beautiful structure-light, airy, and slightly chewy-didn’t absorb much oil, just a very nice doughnut all around. Thank you so much for the recipe! Steve K.
I tried and they turned out great! The dough was very tacky but I had to resist adding more flour. I put it in the fridge overnight after the first rise and made doughnuts in the morning. Also I didn’t have regular ap flour so I used Korean wheat flour instead. You’re such a genius, Krispy Kreme got nothing on you. Thank you so much for this delicious recipe! 😃

@@AimeesCooking Hello again Aimee! I just wanted to clarify if 400grams of flour is equal to 3 and 1/2 cups of flour? :) Or do you use a food scaler to measure actual grams? Thank you so soooo much!!
Just made these and by far the best donut recipe I've tried that comes close to Krispy Kreme. My family is a big fan of kk so it was nice to be able to make something similar.
I am so glad I found your channel. I have used all your bread recipes and they’re PERFECT!!! All the instructions are so informative and clearly explained. Keep up the wonderful work.
AMAZING (PRETTY MUCH FOOLPROOF) RECIPE - A MUST TRY. Thank you so much for this recipe! Ever since I saw this video I've been wanting to try it but I decided to use your recipe to make one large donut because of how airy it was described (since larger donuts would be more prone to doughiness). I had to wing some aspects of it: I don't have a stand mixer so I had to mix by hand for about 20 minutes with a spatula and I ended up using aluminum foil instead of parchment paper. I also opted for chocolate and sprinkles instead of glaze. The outside definitely looks much darker than the video but the inside was PHENOMENAL. It was light, airy, and not too sweet. Next time I might make it a tad sweeter with some honey and sugar. Thank you so much again.
Hey Aimee, I made these this last night, and let chill until this morning. Although I do not have a stand mixer, 20 minutes with a wooden spoon did the trick! Thanks for the directions! I was successful. Made a cream cheese frosting and covered with crushed Oreos. Yum. I am experimenting with freezing one, my guess is the product quality will decrease drastically.
Literally the best, most straightforward donut recipe I've ever made. Hubby and son both say that it's better than Krispy Kreme!! Thank you for sharing. This recipe is not only tasty but so easy. 👍👍
@@bobby3509 From what I remembered it wasn't stale or dry the next day. The sugar glaze got a little sticky and hardened the next day. I popped the donut in the microwave for about 6-8 seconds and it was soft and fluffy again, but not as good as when it was fresh.
Just let the dough rest a little after cutting and you can roll it out a little more if needed. It shrinks because it was just handled in the flattened step.
In the process of making these right now, just letting it rise! Im very excited. Last time i tried making donuts they were too big and hard 😅 i will edit this comment when i finish them
